Question:
Three bulbs of equal resistance are connected in parallel and connected with a battery. If one of the bulb along with its branch is removed keeping rest of the circuit same, then:
Options:
A) Current flowing through the battery remains unchanged
B) Current flowing through the battery increases
C) Current flowing through the battery decreases
D) No current will flow now
Solution:
As one of the parallel branches is removed, resistance of the circuit increases therefore, current will decrease in the circuit according to ohm’s law.
