The question in hindi and in english are in direct contradiction and Hindi question is being given preference for the solution.
The english question says that the daily wage of a man is half of a woman and in hindi, the question says that the daily wage of a woman is half of a man.

Question:

If 35 men earn Rs 74970 in 42 days and daily wage of a woman is a half the daily wage of a man how many women must work for 9 days to receive a total wage of Rs 20655 ?

Options:

Solution:

Men’s daily wage = $\frac{74970}{36 \times 42} = 51 k g$

$∵$ Woman’s daily wage = $\frac{{m e n}^{'} s w a g e}{2}$ = $\frac{51}{2}$

So let $x$ women required according to Q.

Then $x \times \frac{51}{2} \times 9 = 20655$

$x = 90$
