If angle BYC is 45 degrees, then angle YCB is 90 degrees. And in triangle ABC angle ABC and angle ACB will both become 90 degrees making angle BAC 0 degrees. And if angle BAC is 0 degrees ABC isn't a triangle it's a straight line.

Question:

In the adjoining figure, XY || BC and YB is angle bisector of ∠ABC then \(\cfrac{∠AXY}{∠YBC} = \ ?\)

Options:
A) 5 : 4
B) 4 : 5
C) 2 : 1
D) 6 : 5
Solution:
Ans: (c)
