There are many questions in every mock that are either wrong or has wrong options. You should pay back a certain amount for this to the customers. A wrong question takes a lot of time which is very demotivating. Idiot.

Question:

A man distributes pens among his 4 friends A,B,C and D in the ratio \(\cfrac{1}{3}:\cfrac{1}{4}:\cfrac{1}{5}:\cfrac{1}{6}\). What minimum number of pens the person must have?

Options:
A) 57
B) 75
C) 67
D) 76
Solution:
Ans: (a)

Let \(\cfrac{x}{3},\cfrac{x}{4},\cfrac{x}{5} \ and \cfrac{x}{6}\) and pens are distributed among four friends.

Ratio of distributed pens = \(\cfrac{20x:15x:12x:10x}{60}\)

= 20x : 15x : 12x : 10x

On putting x = 1,

Required minimum number of pens

= 20 × 1 + 15 × 1 + 12 × 1 + 10 × 1

= 20 + 15 + 12 + 10 = 57 pens
