Birthday celebrate question (Question:14935.0)

How you have calculated 1996 as the birthday date. When Ram was 4 years old, he celebrated his first birthday. No person can celebrate his first birthday on the day of his birth. Usually when one person is of 1 year, the next birthday date will be counted as 1st birthday which in this case is 4 years. It must be 1992.

Question:
Ram was born on 29th February. He celebrated his birthday falling on exactly 29th February 2008 for the fourth time. In which year he was born? 
Options:
A) 1992
B) 2004
C) 2000
D) 1996
Solution:
It is known that Ram was born in a leap year. Ram celebrated his birthday for the third time in 2004.  So, he celebrated his birthday for the second time in 2000.and he celebrated his birthday for the first time in 1996. So, he was born in the year 1992.
