ANSWER MUST BE 8.

for eg.

FIRST MAN BE 5 KG
THEN SECOND MAN WILL BE OF 7KG
so avg of 2 will be 6.

now the third man will be of 9KG.
so avg of 3 i.e (5+7+9)/3 will be 7 kg

so on

now the weight of fourth man will be 11 kg and fifth man will be 13 kg.
So avg of 5 man will be (5+7+9+11+13)/5 will be 9kg.

so diff of weight (13-5) = 8 kg

Question:
5 members of a team are weighed consecutively and their average weight calculated after each member is weighed. If the average weight increases by one kg each time, how much heavier is the last member than the first one?
Options:
A) 14 kg.
B) 20 kg.
C) 8 kg.
D) 5 kg.
E) None of these.
Solution:

Weight of first member = x kg

Weight of second member =(x + 2) kg

Weight of third member =(x + 2 + 3) kg

Weight of fourth member =(x + 2 + 3 + 4) kg

Weight of fifth member =(x + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5) kg

So, difference = x +  14 -  x = 14 kg
