ibps clerk mock test 1 q.no.40 (Question: 104762.0 )

sir,
how big no. can be subtracted from small no. because your ans is coming 400 and here after subtracting left side numbers iam getting a number which more than 2000. so how it is possible. my solution is
2704-1156/18*rootx= 1720
rootx = 920

Question:

DIRECTIONS: What approximate value should come in place of question mark (?) in the following question? 

{(52.02)2 – (34.01)2} ÷ 17.99 ×√(?) = 1720

Options:
A) 400
B) 20
C) 25
D) 625
E) None of these
Solution:

(52.022 – 34.012) ÷ 17.99 × √? = 1720

 \(\frac{1549.4}{17.99}\) × √? = 1720

√? = \(\frac{1720\times17.99}{1549.4}\)  = 19.97 = 20

Squaring both sides,

? = 400
