  • You are required to hold a graduation degree in the field of LLB or a 5-year Integrated LLB program recognised law university. 
  • You must have minimum qualifying marks to take the law entrance exams. For example, NLU Delhi offers International tax law. To write AILET PG, you must have passed LLB or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ PWD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI categories and 45% marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories.
  • You must possess minimum cut-off marks in entrance exams like CLAT PG, DU LLM, AILET PG etc., to study in India’s top LLM law colleges. 
  • Several law colleges conduct their own entrance exams and have specific eligibility requirements. We encourage you to visit the official website of the respective law college to learn more.
  • You must also satisfy the respective age requirements for certain law entrance exams.

Different entrance exams have different admission and application process. As mentioned above, you must check the college's official website or entrance exam to learn more.

Considering the admission process to NLU Delhi, you must clear the AILET PG entrance exam. And its application process is as follows: 

  • Visit the official website of NLU Delhi, i.e. https://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/
  • Click on the "click here to apply" button on the official website.
  • Once you click on the "register" button, enter the information requested in the registration fields, like name, mobile number, and E-mail ID shall appear on the screen.
  • Then choose UG or PG program. You must select a PG course option.
  • You then must fill in all mandatory fields like qualification details, communication details, parent details, exam centre preferences, and category.
  • The next step is to upload your photograph, signature, and other required documents as per the specifications given in the official notification.
  • The final step is fee payment. You can pay the application fee online or offline, as per your choice.
  • Take a printout of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
