As per a recent notice on the Consortium website (dated 09.08.2023), the GNLU, Silvassa has added "Domicile Reservation" to their category list. Candidates domiciled in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNH & DD) are eligible for consideration in this reservation category.

For those who are targeting this college and have not marked this category can update it by following the guide given below:

  • Login to your CLAT Account and Click on the Edit Application button.
  • Find the reservation tab under GNLU Silvassa.
  • Mark the answer "Yes" for the question "Are you a domicile of Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu?".
  • Select your category from the given reservation categories and click on "Submit".

The Consortium has started the Campus Day Visits registration window for the candidates who have registered for CLAT. You can apply for campus day visits online at the official website.

How to Apply for CLAT Campus Day Visits?  

Here are the steps you need to follow: 

Step 1: Visit the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in 

Step 2: On the homepage, log in to your account. 

Step 3: Look for the "Enroll for Campus Day Visit" option and click on it. 

Step 4: A new page will open, displaying the list of National Law Universities (NLUs) available for campus visits and their schedules and slot statuses. 

Step 5: Find the NLU you want to visit and click on the "Apply for Campus Visit" link. 

Step 6: Review your selection, click "Apply" and then "OK" to confirm and submit your application.

  1. Registration: The first step is registering on the official website using your email address and mobile number.

  • You can pay the CLAT Registration Form Fee online or offline mode.
  • The online method includes Credit/Debit/Net Banking, whereas the offline mode is e-challan.
  • The fee varies from category to category.
  • You must pay exam fees of INR 500 to download the previous year's CLAT question papers.

CLAT Registration Fees - Online-Mode Payment Details 

You can pay the application fee using a Debit/ Credit Card/Net Banking. Bank Transaction Charges shall differ depending on the payment option you have chosen.

  • Card mode: Select the card type - Debit or Credit Card. Enter the Debit/Credit Card details, including card number, expiry date, and CVV number.
  • Net Banking Mode: Select the preferred bank from which you want to make the payment, enter the Net Banking User ID & Password and complete the transaction online

CLAT Registration Fees - Offline Payment Mode (E-Challan)

  • Offline payment requires an e-challan generation followed by cash payment at the bank.
  • You must take a hard copy of a blank challan to the concerned bank.
  • The exam conducting body won't accept Cheques, DDs, or other instruments/modes of payment.
  • PDF format of an e-challan is available and the only acceptable format for offline or cash payment.

Make it a rule! Write it on a board, set a reminder, or paint it on your walls, but you can't miss these documents to complete the application form.

  1. Class 10th and 12th mark sheets
  2. ID and address proof with proper details mentioned (Aadhar Card/ Driving License/ PAN Card)
  3. Residential address for communication
  4. Personal mobile number
  5. An official Email ID. The Consortium will send necessary communications to this email.
  6. Passport-size photograph with a plain background
  7. Signature of the candidate
  8. Category certificate if a candidate belongs to SC/ST/OBC category

How to Know the CLAT 2024 Application Form Status?

You can check the status of your application to know whether your application is pending or has been submitted before making a payment.

The status is subject to availability before the release of admit card, or if the hall ticket is issued to you, it indicates that the application is accepted.

  • As per the references from the last year, it is impossible to make any changes to the application form after the final submission.
  • If you submit any wrong information in the form, you have to apply for a new application with a re-payment of the fee.
  • You won't get any refund for previously submitted applications.

General Instructions for CLAT Registration Process 2024

There are some important instructions that you must follow:

  • The applications have to be submitted online only from the official website.
  • Your name and parents' names should be identical to those on your mark sheet.
  • Any wrong information in the application form can cause cancellation.
  • You should upload the CLAT photo & signature only as per the specifications given in the official brochure.
  • A change to information procured in the form is not liable.
  • Note that data such as category, NLU preference, or exam centre preference list is non-editable after final submission.
