JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Structure

  • As the exam is conducted in four sessions, you can improve your scores. Out of 4 scores, the best score will be considered for the counselling process. 
  • Question paper medium will include a total of 13 regional languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. 
  • There is no change in the syllabus. However, choices will be provided in the question paper. You need to attempt 75 questions out of 90 questions.
  • Under Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, you need to attempt 25 questions out of 30 questions. 
  • Only one application form needs to be filled for all four sessions. However, the application forms are open for each session.

 JEE Main Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria 2021

Nationality

  • Both Indian nationals and international applicants are eligible to apply for the exam.

Qualification

  • You must have passed class 12 or its equivalent in 2019, 2020 from a recognized board or university.
  • You can apply if you are appearing for your class 12 exams in 2021.
  • For B. Arch: You must pass the intermediate with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
  • For B. Plan: You should have passed 12th level with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
  • Diploma: If you are holding a diploma certificate, then you are eligible to apply only for admissions in IITs.

State Of Eligibility

  • You will be required to fill the state code of eligibility at the time of the registration process.
  • The state code of eligibility will not depend upon the native or residence place.
  • For the Indian nationals passing the 12th level from an institution located abroad, the state code of eligibility will be determined based on the permanent address of India provided on the passport.

JEE Main Paper 2 Application Form 2021

The entire JEE Main Paper 2 Application Form will be conducted in online mode. There are four stages involved in the application process i.e. Registration, Filling up of application form, uploading of documents, and  Fee Payment. 

  • Visit the official website of JEE Main i.e. www.jeemain.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the "Apply for JEE Main 2021" option.
  • Enter all the basic details such as name, email address, etc and click on the "Submit" button
  • You will receive an acknowledgment to your registered mobile and email. 
  • Re-login to the website and fill in all the required details like academic details, personal details
  • Click on Save and proceed to the next section. 
  • Upload your passport size photograph and signature in the specified format.
  • Pay the application fee as per your category.
  • Take a printout of the application form for future reference

JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Pattern 2021

As per the new JEE Main Paper 2 Exam pattern, both B. Arch and B.Planning papers are conducted in online mode except for the Drawing section in B.Arch.

The exam will be conducted both Offline (Drawing Test) and Online (Mathematics and Aptitude). The time duration of the exam will be 3 Hours (180 Minutes).

Mathematics and aptitude sections consist of objective-type questions. The questions in the drawing test are designed to test your drawing and sketching skills.

JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Analysis 

  • As per the previous year's JEE Main Paper 2 Analysis, the exam was a moderate level of difficulty. Drawing and aptitude were easy while the maths section was tough.

JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Day Instructions 2021

National Testing Agency has released JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Day Instructions that everyone must follow on the day of the exam.

  • Ensure to reach the center at least half an hour before the reporting time. 
  • Do not carry Camera, Calculators, Mobile, Purse, Jewellery, Watch, etc to the exam center.
  • You need to carry the admit card along with other important documents to the exam hall without fail.
  • If you belong to the PwD category, then you need to carry the certificate issued by the competent authority to the exam hall.

JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2021

The result will be published by National Testing Agency. The JEE Main Paper 2 Result will be released in the form of a PDF. You can able to download the results only in online mode.
