The JEE Main 2027 Paper 2 registration is a fully online, five-stage process on the official NTA portal. Here's the complete flow at a glance, followed by a step-by-step guide so you don't miss anything.

Step 1 - JEE Main Paper 2 Online Registration

• On jeemain.nta.nic.in, click "Apply for JEE Main 2027."
• Enter your basic details - name, mobile number and email ID, and create a password you'll use throughout the process.
• On submitting, you'll receive a system-generated application number on your registered mobile and email.
• Note it down as you'll need it at every later stage.

Step 2 - Fill Out the Application Form

• Enter your personal details - nationality, category, state of eligibility, permanent address.
• Enter academic details - year of passing, qualifying board, Class 12 subjects and marks.
• Select your paper(s) - Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), or both.
• Choose your preferred exam cities, then click "Save and Proceed."

• Upload your passport-size photograph and signature as per the size and format specifications.
• The photograph must be clear, with 80% of the face visible (including ears, without a mask), against a white background.
• Upload category (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) or PwD/UDID certificates if applicable.

Step 4 - Payment of JEE Main Paper 2 2027 Application Fee

After completing registration and the application form, pay the examination fee to finish your application. The fee can be paid only online, using:

• Credit Card
• Debit Card
• UPI

Offline modes such as demand draft, money order or IPO are not accepted. Processing charges and GST (as applicable) are charged extra by the bank or payment gateway, over and above the examination fee. If you have applied for both sessions, the fee must be paid separately for each session.

Step 5 - Download the Confirmation Page

After successful payment, you will be able to download and print the Confirmation Page - this is your proof of a completed application.

Important: If the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment, your transaction is treated as cancelled. In that case you must make the payment again to complete your application, and separately approach your bank for a refund of the failed transaction. Keep the Confirmation Page, your application number and the payment receipt safe - the application number is required for all future correspondence, the admit card, and counselling.
