JoSAA conducts the counselling process for admissions for students who have cleared the JEE Main Paper 2 exam 2026.

The most essential documents during JoSAA Counselling are the JEE Main admit card, rank card, recent passport-size pictures, and other necessary paperwork.

Eligibility Criteria
Criterion I	Qualified JEE Advanced 2026 for academic programs (excluding preparatory courses) at IITs and ISM.
	Meets the "Performance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination" criteria.
Criterion II	Qualified JEE Advanced 2026 for preparatory courses at IITs and ISM.
	Meets the "Performance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination" criteria.
Criterion III	Achieved a rank in JEE Main 2026 Paper-1 for BE/BTech Programs at NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and Other-GFTIs.
	Passed Class XII (or equivalent) examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with either one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
Criterion IV	Achieved a rank in JEE Main 2026 Paper-2 for B.Arch/B.Planning programs at NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and Other-GFTIs.
	Included Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class XII (or equivalent) examination.
