1. Log in to the official website of JEE Main 
2. Click on Apply for JEE Mains; if you are a new applicant, you must click on New registration.

The following page contains Personal details like the candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, gender, identity number, followed by present details like Address, Locality, City/ Town/ village, Country, State, District, Pin Code, Alternate Contact Number, Email Address, Mobile Number.
5. Then create a password with a specific format as instructed on the official website. For example- Sample#123 with Caps, alphabet, number, and special character. 
6. Review the page and click on submit and Final submit. This completes the registration process.
7. You can proceed to fill the application form by filling the application form with personal details, apply for, and educational details.
8. In the apply for the section: Sessions for exam details are to be filled, the medium you wish to take the exam, choose of exam center. 
9. Under educational Details: Previous academic information must be provided, with a few additional information like if you are twin, Name of the sibling, Roll number, Parents’ income details, and your CGPA in classes 10 and 12. 
10.  Enter the security PIN and click on Submit. 
11.  Now, you are required to upload an image that includes a photograph and signature. 
12.  The photograph must be of size 10KB-200KB. To resize your photo, you can choose any free online app to resize to the required KB. 
13.  OBC/ PWD candidates might have to upload the requested documents required for JEE Mains 2024. 
14.  Scan your signature and upload, enter the security PIN, check the box self-verified to click on upload. 
15.  Lastly, you will need to pay INR 650 for the application form. 
16.  Click on online payment, choose the payment provider, and proceed for payment to complete the application process.
