Uttarakhand Judiciary Notification 2021

The notification will be released tentatively in the month of March/April 2021. This year, it is expected that 30 vacancies will be released by the Uttarakhand High Court. 

To apply for the exam, your minimum age should be 22 years and the maximum age must be 35 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per the norms in case if you belong to the SC/ST/ OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen category.

Before proceeding with the application form, it is important to check whether you meet the Uttarakhand Eligibility Criteria or not.

Prelims Exam Pattern

The Preliminary Examination of the Uttarakhand Judiciary Exam consists of 2 Parts

Part 1 of the Uttarakhand Judiciary prelims exam consists of 50 objective type questions and for each correct answer 1 mark is allotted and there is no negative marking for incorrect answer.

 Part 2 of the Uttarakhand Judiciary exam consists of 150 objective-type questions and for each correct answer 1 mark is allotted and there is no negative marking for incorrect answer. To attempt both the 2 parts the time allotted is 3 hours.

Mains Exam Pattern

Basic Knowledge of Computer Operation Practical Examination

There will be a practical test to evaluate your basic knowledge of computer operation. The practical test is conducted for a total of 100 marks. The time duration of the exam is 1 hour. 

You must score at least 40 marks in the test to get shortlisted for the personality test.

Personality Test

You will be eligible to appear for the personality test only if you qualify in the mains examination. The personality test is conducted for a total of 100 marks. 

Your suitability for employment in the Judicial Service will be tested with reference to your record at School, College, and University and your personality, address, and physique.

The prelims syllabus consists of two papers: paper 1 and paper 2.

 The question in this section will be based on day-to-day happenings around India and the world specifically in the legal areas such as international law, recent legislation pronouncement particularly Indian Constitution, neutrality, legal aspects, & law and development.
