A total of 86 universities are participating in the Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) for providing admission to various undergraduate programs at central universities across the country.

CUET Educational Qualification 2023

If you are applying for UG courses, you must have completed your class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognized university or board.

As per the official notification, those who are appearing for the qualifying examination in 2023 are also eligible to apply for the Common Universities Entrance Test.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

You must have obtained a minimum qualifying score aggregate in class 12 or equivalent exam to be eligible for the Common Universities Entrance Test 2023 as prescribed by the respective university.

However, the minimum qualifying marks vary for each participating university. Therefore, it is advised to visit the official website of the particular university you are willing to take admission for the particular course.

CUET Reservation Policy 2023

A certain percentage of seats are reserved for Indian Nationals belonging to certain reserved categories as per the rules prescribed by the Government of India.

However, in the case of the Central Universities, the reservation policy is applicable as per the rules of the respective university.

To claim the benefit of the reservation, you need to upload the required category certificate that should have been issued on or after 01 January 2023 in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India in the online application form.

Age limit: Your age should be no more than 22 years, as of 01 July 2023, which means you must have been born on or after 02 July 2000.

Educational qualification: You must have completed class1 2 or an equivalent exam from the recognized university or board.

Minimum qualifying marks: You will require at least 50% aggregate marks in class 12.

Required subjects in CUET: One language paper, at least 2 subsections from section B, and a general aptitude test.

Aligarh Muslim University is one of the leading and vibrant institutions for excellence in teaching, research, and innovation.

To be eligible for the admission process at AMU, you must make sure to satisfy the following CUET AMU eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification: You must have completed your class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board.

Minimum qualifying marks: You will require a minimum score of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

Required subjects in CUET: You should opt for at least two subjects from section B and the general aptitude test in the CUET exam.

4. Common Universities Entrance Test 2023 for Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)

You should satisfy the following CUET Eligibility Criteria 2023 to be eligible for the admission process at Jamia Millia Islamia university.

Educational qualification: Completed class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board/university.

Minimum qualifying marks: According to the CUET JMI Eligibility Criteria, you will require at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

Required subjects in CUET: Appeared for at least one language paper and general aptitude test.

In the latest notification released by National Testing Agency (NTA), there is only an explicit mention of NTA CUET (UG) courses.

Basic CUET Eligibility criteria 2023 for PG courses are as follows:

  • General category applicants should score 55% marks in their Graduation from a recognized university.
