Summary: The reservation policy of CUET is based on the rules set by the NTA authorities conducting CUET. The candidates in the reserved category always have an advantage over other candidates. NTA has released the CUET 2023 dates notifications; we can shortly expect the CUET Reservation Policy 2023 to be released for the next academic year.
NTA introduced CUET for UG program admissions into Central, State, Deemed and Private universities with a set of CUET reservation policy 2023.
The UGC Chairman informed that the universities can enrol students for general and reserved seats based on CUET scores as per the university reservations.
Therefore, remember that the respective university reservation policy or seat reservations remain unaffected.
When applying for admission at a particular central university, check the respective colleges' reservation policies.

NTA does not entertain changes in category/ subcategories. Initially, what is filled in the application form will be considered throughout the admission process.
Documents to be submitted while applying for CUET exams for each category of students are mentioned below.
Failing to provide the documents shall be categorized in the default category.
GEN-EWS certificate (Annexure-IA) must be uploaded on CUET (UG) - 2023 application.
On failing to upload, at the time of online registration, the candidate has to upload a declaration [Declaration in Lieu of Gen-EWS Certificate at Annexure-IB] to that effect (Reference: No.F.No.20013/01/2018-BC-II).
OBC-NCL certificate (Annexure-IIA) must be uploaded on CUET (UG) - 2023 application.
On failing to upload, the candidate has to upload a declaration [Declaration in Lieu of OBC-NCL Certificate as per Annexure-IIB] to that effect. Visit http://www.ncbc.nic.in for the latest guidelines and updates on the Central List of State-wise OBCs.
Certificate (Annexure-III) must be uploaded, as per the latest guidelines of the Government of India.
UDID/ Annexure-IV (Form-PwBD(II))/ Annexure-V (Form-PwBD(III))/ AnnexureVI (Form-PwBD(IV)), whichever is applicable, issued by the notified medical authority needs to be uploaded.
Candidates with Dyslexic must submit Annexure-VII (Form-DYSLEXIC-1) and
Annexure-VIII (Form-DYSLEXIC 2) instead of Annexure-IV (FormPwBD(II))/Annexure-V (Form-PwBD(III))/Annexure-VI (Form-PwBD(IV)).
Only patients mentioned as "severe" in Dyslexia can apply under the PwBD category. And in such cases, Annexure-VII (Form DYSLEXIC-1) and Annexure-VIII (Form-DYSLEXIC-2) must be merged into a single pdf file and uploaded.

In case of physical disability, the facility of a Scribe is offered as it becomes essential to write the examination supervised by the CMO/ Civil Surgeon/ Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution.
Such students are also given Compensatory time of 15 minutes for 45 minutes exams and 20 minutes for one-hour examinations directed by the Government Guidelines. Candidates who are:
Can avail the facility of the scribe. These services are as per the office memorandum of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Remember to opt for the facility while filling out the online application form.
The candidate must produce a PwBD certificate or certificates of Dyslexic (Form DYSLEXIC 1 and DYSLEXIC 2).
The Scribe will be provided by the National Testing Agency only. The candidates will "not" be allowed to bring their own scribe.
