The official notification for CUCET 2022 shall contain all the essential information and additional details related to the eligibility criteria of new universities.

CUCET 2022 eligibility criteria for UG courses is as follows -

  • General category applicants should score at least 50% marks in class 12.
  • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe applicants should have a minimum of 45% marks in class 12.

CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2022 - UG Courses

The eligibility criteria for various UG courses have been enlisted below. Before proceeding with the CUCET Application Form, you must make sure to check the eligibility criteria.

Integrated B.A.B.Ed/Integrated B.A.LL.B (Hons.).Integrated B.A.LL.B/B.B.A/B.C.A/B.A

  • The minimum qualification required is 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized Board/University with not less than 50% marks for General/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Integrated B.Sc B.Ed

  • The educational qualification required for this integrated program is 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream from a recognized Board/University with not less than 50% marks for General/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Integrated B.Sc B.Ed (Mathematics)

Enlisted is the educational qualification for this course:

  • 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream from a recognized Board/University with not less than 60% marks for General category, 55% marks for OBC-NCL category, and 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • Must not have completed 20 years of age as on 1st July of the current year
  • Must have Mathematics/Statistics, Physics, and Chemistry in 10+2.

Integrated M.Sc in Biochemistry/B.Voc in Biomedical Sciences

  • 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream with Biology from a recognized Board/University with not less than 50% marks for General/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Go through the CUCET Syllabus to know the subject-wise important topics. 

Integrated B.Sc. M.Sc/Integrated M.Sc in Biotechnology

  • At least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent on the grading scale of the Board at 10+2 level with Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology/Biochemistry. 5% relaxation to OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Integrated B.Sc (Hons.) M.Sc/Integrated M.Sc in Chemistry

  • 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream with Chemistry from a recognized Board/University with not less than 50% marks for General/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Integrated M.C.A/Integrated M.Sc in Computer Science

  • There is no minimum percentage criteria for this course. All candidates who have passed 10+2 in any discipline can apply for this course.

Integrated M.Sc in Economics

10+2 or equivalent with English and Mathematics from a recognized Board/University with no than 65% marks for General/OBC and 60% marks for SC/ST candidates.

B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

  • 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream with Chemistry from a recognized Board/University with not less than 45% marks for General/OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

B.Voc

  • 10+2 pass from a recognized board with at least 45% marks in aggregate
  • Students with NSQF certification level may also apply
  • Students who have passed an equivalent exam from a polytechnic in the same field

B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering/B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

  • 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized Board/University with not less than 50% marks for General/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.

B.A in Social Science

  • 10+2 in any discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate. 5% relaxation to candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories.

B.Sc in Textiles

  • 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized Board/University with not less than 60% marks for General/OBC and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates.

CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2022 - PG Courses

CUCET Eligibility for PG courses is as follows -

  • General category applicants should score 55% marks in their Graduation from a recognized university.
  • SC/ST/OBC/PWD category applicants should have 50% marks in their Graduation from a recognized university. Know the Courses Offered by CUCET for UG and PG levels.

M.B.A in Agribusiness A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture related/Humanities, Social Sciences, Pure Sciences, Commerce, Management, Engineering, Design and Planning, and Rural Management, etc. from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks for General/OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
M.A/M.Sc in Applied Criminology and Police Studies Graduation in any discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate. 5% relaxation to candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories.
M.Sc in Biochemistry Must have qualified B.Sc (Hons.)/B.Sc in Botany/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Zoology/Life Sciences/Chemistry or B.Voc in Biomedical Sciences with at least 50% marks in aggregate. 5% relaxation to candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories.
M.Sc in Biotechnology Must have qualified B.Sc (Hons.)/B.Sc in Botany/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Zoology/Chemistry or B.Voc in Biomedical Sciences/Industrial Waste Management with at least 50% marks in aggregate. 5% relaxation to candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories.
M.B.A Has a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or any degree from a recognized university (or) Passed final exam from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Cost and Works Accountants or Company Secretaries (or) Passed A.M.I.E (Engineering)

CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2022 - PhD. Courses

  • You should have a Master’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 55% marks for General category applicants, 50% marks for OBC category applicants, and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD category applicants.
  • If you have cleared UGC-CSIR JRF, GATE, NBHM, or qualified in any other National level Exam, you are exempted from appearing in the entrance exam.
