Understanding CUET Scoring System

CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is a standardized test for admission into various undergraduate programs across 250+ Indian universities.

What are the total marks you can score in CUET?

The test is scored out of 800 , and each exam section has a different weightage.

To achieve a good score, it's important to understand the scoring system.

As per the CUET exam pattern, it has three sections - Sections 1, 2 & 3
Section I consists of two sub-sections - IA and IB.
IA covers language proficiency in 13 languages, while...
IB covers proficiency in 20 additional languages.
Both sub-sections have 50 questions, and candidates must attempt 40 questions from either sub-section.
Followed by domain-specific subjects (Section II) and General Test as shown in the picture below.
