RRB JE Recruitment Stage 2 exam is also conducted in online mode. Given below are the details about the exam pattern for RRB JE:

  • The total number of questions in Stage 2 is 150.
  • There are 5 sections in this stage containing a different number of questions.
  • Candidates can qualify for the Stage 2 on the basis of normalized score in Stage 1.
  • Each question in the exam carries 1 mark which means the candidate can score a maximum of 150 marks.
  • There is a negative marking of -1/3 mark for each incorrect answer.

Normalization of Marks?

Normalization takes into account the examination conducted in multi-session/ single sessions and the difficulty level of the exam.

  • The method of normalization uses the marks scored in different sessions and converts them into standardized marks to make the Merit List fair.
  • A common standard for the Merit List based on the normalization will be published in the descending order and the allotment will be done as per the post preferences.

RRB JE Stage 1 Cancellation & Rescheduling Notice

The RRB JE Stage 1 Exam was cancelled at 2 Locations & then rescheduled by the Railway Recruitment Board.

  • RRB posted on its respective state websites that the exam was cancelled in 2 centers at Kolkata and 1 center in Vadodara (Ahmedabad).

RRB JE Application Form 2019 has been released online on Fill and submit the application form before January 31, 2019. Follow the steps given below to apply online for RRB JE 2019:

  • Select the desired RRB after checking the vacancy offered and click on “New Registration” (for new users) or “Already Registered” (for existing users)
  • Fill the registration form with all the required details and click on “Submit”

  • Enter the registration number and password
  • Post submission, one can find and review the admit card
  • Print multiple copies of the admit card, in case of no errors

In case of errors in the admit card, report about the same to the applied RRB. They will re-issue the corrected admit card before the scheduled exam date.

RRB JE Exam Center 2019

Applicants get an option to select the exam city or their desired RRB Location while filling the RRB JE Application form.

Documents Required for Verification in RRB JE 2019
