Month Wise Strategy for Quantitative Techniques for CLAT 2024

In this article, we will provide you with the best possible way to practice the Quantitative Techniques questions, and you will get the proper CLAT Study Plan month-wise for it.

August Month

The students who have started their preparation 1 or 2 months before August should revise all the topics in August because we have to work parallelly with studying and revising.

  • Earlier, we studied the theory part of all chapters and then started practising and revising it, which is wrong. Now we will prepare 2 or 3 chapters fully and then revise that.
  • In this month, you should revise those concepts, methods, and approaches and start practising Data Interpretation Questions for CLAT.
  • If you have completed a percentage or any other topic, then start practising data interpretation questions related to that topic because, in the Quantitative Techniques section, data interpretation has the maximum weightage.
  • The students who will start their preparation in August will have to speed up their pace because they have maximum time till October to come parallel with those who have started their preparation 1 or 2 months before them.
  • For example, Suppose you have studied the percentage chapter in your coaching institute today, then after reaching home. In that case, you will divide your time in such a way that if you have decided to practice 1 hour daily for the quantitative techniques section, then in that 1 hour, you will give 15 to 20 minutes to the understanding and theoretical part and remaining 40 to 45 minutes to practice it thoroughly.
  • So this month, we have to practice as hard as we can because we don't have much time left for the CLAT 2024 entrance test.

September Month

By the end of September, you must complete your practice of all the CLAT theory-specific chapters. So that after your preparation of those chapters is completed then, you should practice Data interpretation questions related to those topics.

The concepts of all the arithmetic chapters on which data interpretation can be created should be clear in your mind by the end of September.

If you cannot complete the theoretical chapters of maths by the end of September, you will feel pressure in your mind, and also, you will be unable to study well.

There are many chapters in the quantitative techniques section through which the formation of the data interpretation questions is difficult, so for the CLAT 2024; we will leave that because we don’t have time to waste.

  • You have to focus on the CLAT-specific chapters only because you have only 3 months left for the CLAT 2024.
  • You must cover all the techniques, methods, approaches, and Important Formulas for CLAT Maths by the end of September.
  • In these 2 months, August and September, you have to cover all the concept-based data interpretation topics: Percentages, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Proportion, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Mixture and Allegations, Partnership, etc.
  • If you are unable to finish the whole theoretical part by the end of September, then you can take a maximum of 10 days more to finish it. Don’t take more than 10 days.

October Month

  • In October, you should activate your practice mode. You must practice as much as data interpretation questions based on various topics to be perfect in the quantitative techniques section.
  • You have to increase the frequency of attempting mock tests.
  • This month, you must start your revision and be on your A game for the preparation.
  • You have to analyze every mock you attempt because analyzing and rectifying your mistakes will help you greatly in your preparation period.
  • Attempting and analysing mocks should be done regularly because this will help you prepare well for CLAT 2024.
  • You have to do hard work with some smart work.
  • For example - you will attempt 3 CLAT Mock Tests in a week, so the 3 days in a week are gone in attempting the mock, so the next 3 days, you should analyze those mocks thoroughly and rectify your mistakes in those 3 days to be perfect for the upcoming exam.
  • The mock analysis is very important for the preparation of the CLAT 2024. You have to be focused on analyzing the mock because sometimes, in the mock test, you will get a complex graph or question, then analyzing plays an important part in that question.
  • You should watch video analyses of the mocks you attempt. In that video, you will get advice from the experts on how you should attempt that question in an easy manner.
  • In October, you must practice and revise everything you have studied.

November Month

  • November will work as a backup month for us.
  • November will be your pressurized month because, in November, you have to work efficiently and complete all the unfinished topics or preparation left by you in the previous months due to festivals and various other factors.
  • You have to increase the frequency of attempting the mocks this month. Earlier, you attempted 3 mocks a week, but now you have to attempt 6 mocks in a week, including its analysis part.
  • Attempting a mock test will help you know the examination level and the types of questions that can come in the examination. So, attempt as many mocks as possible to enhance your speed and accuracy in the examination.
  • If you write the mock tests daily, you will get to know how to handle the pressure of any national-level entrance examination, specially CLAT 2024 entrance examination.
  • If you delay your study plan for the previous months, you will feel the burden in November. Or if you finish all your concept-based preparation by 10th October, then also it is ok because you can take 5 to 10 days extra for preparation.
  • But in November, you have to be practice-oriented only. For the whole 25 to 30 days of November, you just have to practice all types of Data interpretation questions available. And you have to attempt as many mock tests as you can.
  • Practice at least 30 to 40 mock tests in November to prepare you well for the CLAT 2024 entrance examination.
  • Practice is the only thing that will bring accuracy and speed to you. We all must have heard the phrase ‘Practice makes the man perfect. So you must follow that motto to successfully crack any national-level entrance examination, especially CLAT 2024 Entrance Exam.
  • Until September, you have to focus on only the accuracy part, not speed. After September, i.e., in October and November, you can focus on speed and accuracy.
  • These are the few essential Quantitative Techniques preparation tips that you should follow while preparing for the CLAT 2024 entrance examination.

As you all know, the basic step is to prepare well with full focus, dedication, and determination.

The first and the main step to start the CLAT Exam Preparation is that the candidate should have to collect all the best study material possible, i.e., best books, notes, question banks, etc., from which you have to study for the CLAT 2023 entrance examination.

After collecting all the study material, you just have to focus on the main points or formulas you have highlighted while preparing for the quantitative techniques section.

These formulas or main points will help you recall the topic. This will save a lot of time. Otherwise, if you haven’t marked any formulas or main points at the time of starting the preparation, then at the revision time, you will be in trouble because you have to study the whole chapter again to retrieve what it is about. You can’t waste that much time on those topics.

The candidate should practice at least 5 years of the Previous Year’s CLAT Question Papers. It will help you to understand what type of questions are asked in the examination and what will be the level of the entrance examination.

For the general knowledge section, students should read all the current affairs of the last 6 months and should be thorough with them.

For the Quantitative Techniques section, students should start practising the MCQs quickly by applying all the short tricks they have learned while preparing for the exam.

For the Logical Reasoning section, students should practice puzzles, seating arrangements, etc., in less time so that they can easily crack any puzzle in less time at the time of examination.

For the English Language section, students should practice reading comprehension, Cloze Test, etc.

For the Legal Reasoning section, students should know all the Laws.

Attempt all the questions again from the question bank made by you at the time of preparation.
