The Bar Council of India (BCI) administers the AIBE, commonly known as the All India Bar Examination, as a certification exam following the successful completion of a 3- or 5-year LLB degree.

The Legal Education Committee (LEC) and Bar Council of India (BCI) members agreed to a statement outlining the examination on April 10, 2010, and April 30, 2010, resulting in the creation of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE).

An advocate's eligibility to practise law in India is verified through the All India Bar Examination ( AIBE). The board assesses fundamental skills in order to set a minimum standard for entry into the legal profession. The Bar Council of India awards the "Certificate of Practice" to a candidate who successfully completes the examination. AIBE is held in 40 Indian cities and in 11 different languages.

Why do you need to qualify for AIBE?
