After releasing the final CLAT Answer Key, the Consortium will declare the results on their official website. The result will be declared separately for UG and PG program. Along with the results, a consolidated merit list will also be released which includes roll numbers and scores of all candidates appeared for the Common Law Admission Test.

The CLAT Answer Key will be released tentatively in 3rd week of May 2021. The students can check and raise objections on the provisional answer key released initially. Follow the steps below in order to know how to download the Answer Key:

- Enter your login credentials in the login window and submit
- Click on the answer key to view
- Download the Answer key PDF and take the printout for future reference.
What is the difference between the Provisional and Final Answer Key for CLAT 2021?
The provisional answer key has answers to all the questions which might or might not be right. The students can challenge this answer key if they find any error in the same. The final answer key is the final and re-checked version which is published for final score calculation. The answer key can be used to estimate the final result for any candidate.
How to calculate the CLAT Score?

- Step 1: Visit the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- Step 2: On the Home page, click on the link "Click Here"
- Step 3: Enter your Registration Number & Password in the login window and click on the "Submit" button.
- Step 4: In the new page, click on CLAT results.
- Step 5: Candidates can check rank, score and qualifying status.
- Step 6: Download the CLAT scorecard and take a printout for future reference.
How to Retrieve CLAT Login Details if Forgotten?
In case if any candidate has forgotten the password or user ID, then they can check their result by retrieving the login details. Follow the below steps to retrieve the login details:
- Visit the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on the candidate's login
- In the login window, click on "Forgot Password"
- In the new window, enter your mobile number and click on "Request OTP"
- In the next window, enter the mobile number, OTP, new password, confirm the password and click on ‘reset password’.
- Now login to the account with the newly generated password.

CLAT Scorecard 2021
The CLAT scorecard is an official document that will be released by the exam conducting authorities along with the result. This document will include the marks scored in each section and also total marks scored. During the counselling, it is mandatory for each candidate to carry this Common Law Admission Test Scorecard without fail. What After CLAT Result 2021?
The Consortium will release the cutoff marks after the results on their official website. Cut off marks are the minimum marks that need to be scored by candidates to get qualified for the next stage.
After the declaration of results, candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling process based on the cutoff marks. During this procedure, candidates will be offered admission to UG and PG courses based on the Common Law Admission Test scores.
CLAT Merit List 2021
The CLAT Merit List will be released in a PDF format that includes candidates shortlisted for admission process based on their exam scores. indicates several things. The Consortium will prepare two lists i.e., General Rank List and category-Wise Rank Lists. The merit list will include:
- A total number of students appeared for Common Law Admission Test 2021
- The candidates' performance in the exam individually with the State Rank.

Details on CLAT 2021 Merit List
The merit list is usually released after the declaration of the CLAT Result 2021. The candidates must check the merit list thoroughly. There will be some important things mentioned in the merit list:
- Candidate Name: The names of all the candidates who appeared in the Common Law Admission Test 2021
- Roll Number: The Application Numbers of all the candidates
- DOB: Date of Birth of the candidates will be also mentioned in their own separate column
- Score: Marks scored by the candidate
- AIR: All India Rank of the candidate at the national level

CLAT Result Tie Breaking Procedure 2021
Often there are cases when candidates happen to have the same scores, in such cases, there are some tie-breaking rules that are taken into consideration. The following factors will be taken into consideration while resolving the tie in the merit list.
- The candidate with higher age will be high on the preference scale
- The candidate who has scored higher in the Legal Aptitude Test will be considered
- In case the students are of equal age and secured equal marks in the Legal Aptitude Test, there will be a computerized draw of lots

CLAT Counselling 2021
The CLAT Counselling 2021 will begin once the results have been declared by the exam conducting body.
- Firstly, candidates must make an online payment of Rs 50000/- to register for counselling procedure.
- Once the first provisional list is released, candidates must choose any of the three options: Accept the allotted seat, Apply for Upgrade or Exit from the Admission Process.
- If the first option is chosen then, the candidate needs to upload all the required documents and make payment of a requisite fee to the allotted NLU.
- If the candidate chooses the second option i.e., Accept for Upgrade then, the candidate must make a payment of Rs 50000/- to the allotted University and upload documents as per the schedule.
- If the last option is chosen, then the allotted seat will be lost and the candidate will not be considered for further allotment.
Documents Required for CLAT Counselling 2021
Candidates who will be shortlisted and their names will appear in the merit list should carry these documents at the time of Counseling:
- Application Form
- Admit Card
- Score Card
- Date of Birth Proof Required (Class 10th Mark sheet)

CLAT Seat Allotment 2021
The NLU will process the seat allotment according to the merit-cum-preference. There are always possibilities of fluctuation in the total number of seats:
- 3 Seat allotment list will be released for admissions on the official website
- The selected candidates' names, application numbers, admit card number, Vertical Reservation and Horizontal Reservation will be mentioned in the list
- The students can either finalize the allocated seat or go with the option of shifting
- Once the last date of withdrawal of admission process of CLAT 2021 ends, the students will not get their refund
CLAT Colleges Preference Trends
- NLSIU Bangalore and NALSAR Hyderabad are the most preferred NLUs by the majority of students willing to apply for Common Law Admission Test.
- Further, NUJS Kolkata is the most preferred after the top 2 NLUs. After NUJS, students prefer for NLU Jodhpur and NLIU Bhopal followed by GNLU Gandhinagar.
- As per the previous year's trend, students prefer MNLU Mumbai over HNLU Raipur. The location factor is the biggest when preferring any NLU.
- Further preference is RMLNLU Lucknow followed by NLU Odisha. In recent times, NLU Odisha has a lot of preferences compared to RGNUL Patiala and NUALS Kochi. CNLU Patna
- Students having their ranks near to 1000 have opted for NUSRL Ranchi.
- In the next preference, MNLU Nagpur is chosen followed by DSNLU Visakhapatnam.
- Further preferred colleges are NLUJA Assam followed by TNNLS Trichy and HPNLU Shimla.
- DDNLU Jabalpur has begun its academic from 2019-20 and this is preferred over MNLU Aurangabad

CLAT 2019 Gender Ratios
In 2019, a total of 2391 candidates were allotted seats in first seat allotment. Out of these, 1333 are male and1058 are female candidates. In other words, 55.75% of the candidates allotted seats in the first list are males. There are few NLUs in which seats for boys are higher than the seats for girls. But, some NLUs provide a fair ratio of seats in between Males and Females.
