How will the CLAT Merit List be Prepared?

Rank List is prepared based on your scores in the entrance exam. The merit is published in descending order of rank, which means you will be given higher preference if you have a high score followed by lower scores.

You would be given first preference during the CLAT Seat Allotment if you ranked higher in the merit list.

If two or more students have the same scores in the CLAT examination, then the exam conducting body will consider the following tie-breaking procedure:

You are called first for the CLAT Counselling if you have higher scores.

  • The Consortium will release the counselling list after the first round.
  • If your name is on the rank list, you must deposit Rs 5000 in counselling fees. 50000/- to confirm your seat.
  • NLUs will provide admission in UG and PG courses accepting CLAT scores through the counselling process.
