CBSE Class 12 Computer Science Exam Pattern 2023-24

Summary: The CBSE Class 12 Computer Science Exam for 2023-24 will feature more multiple-choice and competency-based questions. Prepare efficiently by going over the most recent CBSE class 12 computer science exam pattern. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to increase the number of multiple-choice questions in the CBSE Board examinations 2023-24. More questions on application of concepts in real-life settings and competencies would be included in CBSE board exams in 2024. These modifications were made in accordance with the 2020 National Education Policy (NEP). 

This year's CBSE Class 12 exams will cover the entire syllabus. All CBSE 12th board exams will be subjective in nature. The curriculum and CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2024 have also been issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Students must go over the full CBSE Class 12 Computer Science Syllabus in order to prepare for their exams. 

According to the CBSE Circular, the exam pattern of CBSE computer science question paper would be the same as the sample question papers available on the CBSE website.

CBSE Class 12th Exam Pattern 2024 

The CBSE class 12th exam pattern will provide you a general concept of how to prepare for your exams, although individual topics may have different marking schemes. English (core) and Mathematics papers typically have different exam patterns than the other courses.  

The English (core) paper is for 100 points because there is no practical test, and the other topics are worth 80 points (theoretical) and 20 points (practical). These theory examinations have to be completed within two hours. Every subject in CBSE class 12th has the same timing.
