The seat intake and reservation policies are similar to those followed last year. The National Law University, Delhi, provides 81 seats for admission to the LLM course, and the college also offers extra 11 supernumerary seats for Kashmiri migrants and foreign nationals.

A specific percentage of AILET LLM seat intake is reserved for socially and educationally backward classes, including those belonging to distinct castes such as OBC, SC, ST, and EWS.
While filling out the AILET LLM Application Form, you must fill in the correct category to avail your reservation.

Note:
As per the official notification, the university provides a 5% Horizontal Reservation across the categories for those belonging to the PwD category.
While providing admission to the LLM course, 15% of AILET LLM seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST).
SC seats that are not filled will be converted to ST seats and will not be allocated to any other reserved category.
In case a sufficient number of eligible aspirants of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are not available in the respective category, the seats, thus remaining vacant, will be treated as General and will be offered to the General Category in order of merit.

The university offers 22% of seats for the OBCs (Non-Creamy Layer) Category.
You would be qualified to apply under this category if you have a valid OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate issued by a competent body under the Central List of OBCs or the Delhi State List of OBCs (Notified by the Government of NCT of Delhi).

10% of seats are reserved for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). A valid Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Competent Authority is required to receive the benefit of an EWS reservation.
Only the Income and Asset Certificate issued by one of the following authorities will be accepted as proof of your EWS claim.

In compliance with the provisions of "The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016," those belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category have been given a horizontal reserve of 5%.
You can apply under this category if you have a valid PwD certificate issued by a competent authority.
Kashmiri Migrants would be allocated one extra seat. Kashmiri Migrants (Non-Migrants) comprise Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu families in the Kashmir Valley.
At the time of provisional admission, you must present a valid certificate issued by the appropriate authorities to be eligible for this benefit.
Because the Kashmiri Migrant quota seat is supernumerary, it will not be converted to any other category if it stays empty.
To be eligible for the admission process at NLU, Delhi, you must satisfy certain criteria set by the exam conducting body.
AILET LLM Professional Program is another post-graduate level program conducted by National Law University, Delhi.
The objective of the LLM (Professional) Program [“LLM (Pro)”] is to improve academic excellence in professional services. Obtaining LLM (Pro) will not qualify you for academic (and other) jobs that require an LLM as a minimum qualification.
It will also not qualify you to appear for the UGC’s National Eligibility Test or similar tests. AILET LLM (Professional) Program is equivalent to a P.G. Diploma Program.
The admissions to the LLM (Professional) program will begin tentatively in September for the academic year. The program will be delivered in a mixed mode of distance education and contact learning.

To begin with, the University will admit a maximum of 160 aspirants for this program.
However, the University has the right to change the number of seats available in a given academic year without prior notice.
