RJS Prelims Exam Pattern 2020
The prelims phase of the RJS exam will comprise of a single paper. It will contain a specific amount of multiple choice type questions. Hence, the candidate will have to choose the correct answer through the given options. The paper consists of 100 questions for 100 marks.
- Points or scores will not be deducted for making wrong assumptions or answering the questions in an incorrect manner.
- As per the RJS 2020 syllabus PDF, the prelims examination is only going to be a screening test. Therefore, the marks are not going to be counted during or with the Mains. Nonetheless, the candidate has to score the passing marks in this examination if they want to make themselves eligible for the Mains.

RJS Mains Exam Pattern 2020
According to the Judiciary Exam Pattern, the RJS Mains exam consists of three papers as explained below:
- Law Paper 1
- Law Paper 2
- Language - (a) Hindi Essay (b) English Essay
In mains exam, questions are designed to test candidates' understanding of the legal aspect of the environment surrounding them particularly the recent ongoings in the national and international sphere.
- The 1st and 2nd Law paper will carry 100 marks each. Conversely, the Language paper will feature two parts, Hindi Essay, and the English Essay carries 50 marks each.
- To clear the examination, an aspirant belonging to the general category has to score 45% minimum marks whereas candidates belonging to SC/ST have to score a minimum of 40% of marks.
- Each of the Law Papers will have a total duration of three hours while the Language ones will have two hours.

- The interview is conducted for a total of 35 marks.

Is There Any Limitation of Attempts for the RJS Exam?
No. As per the notification, there is no limitation for attempting the Rajasthan Judicial Services 2020 Exam. However, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the High Court of Rajasthan to apply of the exam.
Before processing the application process for the RJS exam, candidates are advised to check whether they met the eligibility criteria or not. Candidates belonging to the OBC category will be given an age relaxation of 3 years while the age relaxation is 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
