As per the Annual Calendar of the National Testing Agency, the CUET PG Exam will be held tentatively between 1 June 2023 to 10 June 2023. However, no official regarding the same or the CUET PG Application Process has been released. But, the UGC informed on their official website that it would release a notice regarding the tentative dates of the exam.

However, if you aspire to enrol for post-graduate courses in the top Central Universities across India, CUET PG Exam Pattern 2023 must be on your to-do list as a high priority.  

In the Information Bulletin, NTA described the CUET PG Paper Pattern. Here are some of the essential FAQs by candidates regarding the exam pattern:

  • The maximum marks allotted to CUET PG are 400.
  • It'll be conducted in Computer Based Test mode for only two hours.
  • CUET (PG) 2023 is conducted in English and Hindi (Bilingual) except for language and Sahitya papers.
  • The test contains 100 questions divided into Part A and Part B.
  • Part A tests the candidate's knowledge of Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability, General Awareness, Mathematical/Quantitative ability and Analytical Skills. (differs from course to course)
  • Whereas Part B tests the theoretical and conceptual of the domain.

CUET PG Exam Pattern 2023 - Marking Scheme

The National Testing Agency mentions the following CUET PG marking scheme for all the exam patterns. Candidates must mark the correct option among the four options on the question paper.

Go through the points below to learn about the detailed marking scheme for the CUET PG exam:

  • For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded.
  • For the wrong answers, one negative is deducted.
  • If more than one option against any question is correct, 4 marks are awarded.
  • No marks shall be deducted if any question is left unanswered or has been marked for review.
  • If all the options are wrong for a question, then 4 marks are awarded to those who attempt that question.
