Is the Bihar Judiciary Syllabus similar to other state judiciary syllabuses? Yes. It is similar to the syllabuses of other state judiciary exams regarding subjects covered, such as civil, criminal, and constitutional law.
Are there any changes in the Bihar Judiciary Syllabus for the upcoming exam? No. There is no change in the syllabus of the Bihar Judicial Services Exam.
How much time should I allocate to prepare each subject in the Bihar Civil Judge Syllabus? The time allocation for each subject depends on your knowledge of the topic. You must give more time to subjects you are less familiar with and less time to subjects you are already proficient in.
What subjects are covered in the Bihar Judiciary Syllabus? The Bihar Judiciary 2023 Syllabus covers various subjects, including Civil Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, and other allied laws, along with General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
However, the syllabus varies for prelims and main exams. Hence, knowing the syllabus is the first step towards your preparation process.
The Preliminary Examination includes questions from General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Elementary General Science, Constitutional and Administrative Law of India, Hindu Law & Muhammadan Law, Law of Evidence & Procedure, etc.
The Mains Examination includes five compulsory papers: General Knowledge and Current Affairs, General Hindi, General English, Elementary General Science, and Law of Evidence and Procedure.
Whereas you must choose three optional papers out of five law subjects.
Bihar Judiciary Prelims Syllabus 2023
The Bihar Judiciary Prelims Exam is an objective examination comprising two papers: Paper 1: General Knowledge & Paper 2: Law. General knowledge is conducted for 100 marks, and law paper is conducted for 150 marks.
To be selected for the mains, you must score 45% marks (unreserved category) and 40% (reserved category) in the prelims exam.

The Bihar Judiciary Syllabus 2023 for General Knowledge evaluates a candidate's awareness of current affairs, knowledge of prominent events, and significant information in various fields.

3 - Geography
In Geography, the emphasis will be on the geography of India and Bihar.
Questions on the Geography of India and Bihar will relate to the physical, social, and economic Geography of the country, including the main features of Indian agricultural and natural resources.
You must know about Bihar's geography, geographical division, and major river systems.
Here is a list of topics that are commonly included in the syllabus for geography:

The factors that led to the rise of the Indian National Movement.
Important events and personalities associated with the Indian National Movement, such as the Revolt of 1857, the Swadeshi Movement, the Non-Cooperation Movement, the Quit India Movement, and more.

5 - General Science
Questions on General Science cover general appreciation and understanding of science, including everyday observation and experience, as may be expected of a well-educated person who has not made a particular study of any scientific discipline.
The Mains Exam is the second stage of the selection process, after the Preliminary Exam. Only those candidates who qualify for the Preliminary Exam are eligible to appear for the Mains Exam.

The level of this paper is the same as that of Hindi intended for the aspirants studying Hindi continuously from the fourth class of the Bihar School Examination Committee's secondary examination.
The questions examine your general ability to express the expressions clearly and accurately in simple Hindi and your intuitive understanding of simple Hindi on familiar subjects.
