Expected Cut- off-

As per the suppositions, the cut- off marks could be as follows:

General- 50-55 out of 100

OBC- 45-50 out of 100

SC/ ST- 40-45 out of 100

Some important guidelines for the examination:

a. You have to take care of both the cutoffs- (sectional and overall) to clear the SBI PO Prelims exam.

b. Another essential key is proper time management. Try to allot genuine timings to each of the sections as per the following figures:

English Section: 15 minutes

Quant: 20 minutes

Reasoning: 25 minutes

One can easily attempt 55 questions in the above time slots.

c. Skim through the entire paper (especially through reasoning and quant sections) and try to attemp the easy questions first. If you are stuck at a question which you find difficult, it absolutely doesn’t make sense to waste time on it. Skip those questions and move on to the questions which cn easily solve. You may try out those left questions later.

d. Last but not the least, belive in your caliber! Believe in the fact that “I CAN DO IT” and you will see wonders in your performance. It is well and good if a candidate manages to attempt 80 questions but all you need is 45 or 46 to clear prelims. Remember, Smart and efficient attempts matter!
