NIACL AO Prelims 2016: Last Minute Preparation Tips

NIACL AO examination is one of the most prestigious exams of all times. NIACL, which starts for New India Assurance Company conducts examinations every year to recruit appropriate candidates for the post of “Administrative Officers”. The NIACL Prelims 2016 is the first stage of the entire recruitment process which is scheduled on 17th December 2016. The NIACL Mains 2016 is the final stage of recruitment which is scheduled in the month of January 2016 (tentative).

Please note that NIACL has come up with a change in the exam pattern this year. In the previous years, there used to be only one objective test. But as per the revised pattern, there will be two phases of written exam followed by an interview.

NIACL AO Prelims 2016: Exam Pattern

Now, let us take a glance at the pattern of NIACL AO Prelims 2016 exam:

The NIACL AO exam will consist of three papers: English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.

The second phase will be NIACL AO Phase II Mains 2016 which will be:

  1. An Objective paper of 200 marks
  2. A Descriptive paper of 30 marks

The third phase will be an interview session which will comprise of group discussion and personal interview.

  • Revise all the topics studied. Allot fixed hours for every section so that you would not end up skipping any of them.
  • Prepare a schedule of revision of all topics. Try to strictly adhere to the schedule while revising.
  • List down the formulae and short- cut tricks and have a glance periodically. This will make you remember them easily.
  • During practice, try to allot genuine time durations to each section. Don’t stick to a particular section for long.
  • Try to allot a time limit of 1 min to solve every question.
