What are the Eligibility Criteria of TISSNET 2021?
Nationality
- Candidates must be registered citizens of India
Academic Eligibility
- Since TISSNET is a national level postgraduate entrance test, the basic eligibility is graduation.
- Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates must have secured 50% or above in their Bachelor’s degree course.
Work Experience
- Candidates applying for the course of Masters in Arts in (Organisation Development, Change, and Leadership) must possess experience of 2 years to post their graduation date.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be at least 21 years or above at the time of admission in TISS Campuses
- There is no upper age limit to apply for TISSNET Exam
How to Apply for TISSNET 2021?
The application, registration, and all updates regarding TISS Entrance Exam 2021 will be intimated through its official website admissions.tiss.edu. The TISSNET Application Form will be available tentatively from the third week of October 2020.
There is also a provision of offline TISSNET Application for the exam. However, it is available for candidates with limited access of the internet from North-East, Jammu & Kashmir, and Jharkhand. It can also be availed by students from remote areas. Such students will have to request TISS Application form from Mumbai Campus. Let us look at the process of the TISSNET 2021 Application.
Online Application
- Visit the Official website of TISSNET 2021, admissions.tiss.edu
- Register at the portal with email-id and verify with OTP sent at the same email account.
- Login at admissions.tiss.edu using the generated user details.
- Enter personal information and academic background.
- Choose courses to be applied, preferred campus, and exam city.
- Upload photographs and signature as per the guidelines mentioned.
- Upload necessary documents
- Pay TISSNET 2021 Application Fee and Submit
- Save a copy of registered TISS Entrance Exam Form and verify the confirmation mail received at your email-id
Offline Application
- Submit a request with an application fee for TISSNET Form through Speed-post to TISS Mumbai Campus.
- TISS Mumbai generally takes a week to dispatch the form via speed-post
- Fill TISSNET 2021 Offline Application Form with all necessary details
- Attach attested copies of all required documents.

When will TISSNET Admit Card be Released?
Hall Ticket of TISSNET 2021 will be released post successful submission of the TISSNET Form. It is expected to be available on admisisons.tiss.edu by the second week of December 2020. Candidates without hall tickets will not be permitted to appear for the exam. Follow the steps mentioned to download TISS NET Admit Card

- Download and keep multiple copies with you.

What is TISSNET Exam Pattern?
The TISSNET 2021 Exam will be conducted in online formats across centers spread over four zones as mentioned above. The exam will be of 100 questions in 100 minutes with sections- English Proficiency, Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning, General Awareness.
- The Mode of the examination will be English
- Questions will be objective in nature
- 1 Mark will be awarded for right answers, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer
- No marks will be awarded for questions not attempted.
- English, Reasoning Section: 30 questions each
- General Awareness: 40 Questions
The Final Merit of TISSNET 2021 will include marks obtained by the student's TISS NET Exam. It will also include marks obtained by students in subsequent rounds of PIT/GD and PI rounds. The table mentioned below gives the detailed breakup of marks distribution.

What is TISSNET Cut Off?
TISS invites students with scores above the cutoff to the next process of Pre-Interview Tests/Group Discussions followed by Personal Interview. TISSNET Cut Off is generally higher for general students and comparatively lower for students from reserved categories. However, it is subject to change as it depends on multiple factors mentioned below
- Number of students writing the test
- The difficulty level of the examination
- Number of vacancies
- Average marks scored in the examination.

What happens in TISSNET Interview?
Results of the TISS Online Exam is followed by invitation for the interview rounds. The interview rounds consist of the following stages:
- Pre-Interview Test/Group Discussion
- Personal Interview

- Duration: 35-45 Minutes
- Section 1 (25-30 Marks): Essay Writing (1000-1500 words)
- Section 2 (20-215 Marks): Situation Handling Questions (4 Questions)

- Total Marks: 75 Marks
The Final Results in the form of merit list are declared post successful completion of TISS NET Interview Rounds. The merit list is prepared on basis marks scored by candidates in Online Exam and Interview rounds. The weightage given to each stage in the preparation of merit is mentioned below.

When will TISSNET Result be Declared?
The TISSNET Result will be announced after the successful conclusion of a 100-minute online examination. The result in the form of the scorecard will be uploaded on the official website of TISS and students will have to provide login details to obtain that. Here’s a detailed process of how you can download your TISS NET 2021 Score Card from the website.

- Navigate to the Results tab
- Enter the required details like your registration info.
- Download and save your scorecard.
TISS 2021 Admissions
The final TISS Admission for different programs is done in two stages involving three components of assessment. Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) offers programs with a low fee structure. Candidates score in the TISS Entrance Exam will be used only for shortlisting them to the second stage. This score will not be added to the final selection.
The candidates applying for MA Human Resource Management & Labour Relations (HRM &LR) and MA Organisation Development, Change and Leadership (ODCL) of Mumbai Campus will have to appear in an additional Management Aptitude Test (TISS-MAT) conducted along with TISS-NET for 45 marks for a duration of 30 mins. The score for TISSMAT will be added to the PIT score of the shortlisted candidates while preparing the final score for the selection.
Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for the Pre Interview Test and Personal Interview.(PIT/PI). Candidates are assessed based on the following parameters for final selection
- TISSNET 2021 exam scores. Minimum qualifying TISSNET marks are 35%
