TISSNET is an online examination conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences for admission to postgraduate programs. TISSNET Application Form 2020-21

TISSNET Notification 2021 will be released in the first week of coming October. The premier institute will invite applications from eligible and interested candidates. Candidates are devised to submit their TISSNET Registration Form before the last date which is scheduled to be November for online applicants and December for offline applicants. Who can fill TISSNET Application Form 2020-21?

TISSNET is a post-graduate entrance examination. Hence, it invites applications from all qualified Indian graduates. However, there is additional Eligibility Criteria of TISSNET that students need to fulfill. TISSNET Applications from only eligible students are entertained and taken into consideration for TISSNET Admit Card/Hall Ticket generation

Age Eligibility for TISSNET

• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to apply for TISSNET 2021 Exam
• However, there is no upper age limit to apply for TISSNET

Academic Eligibility for TISSNET

• Candidate must have graduated from any recognized university across India
• Candidates in their final year can also apply provided they possess their graduating degree at the time of TISS NET Admission

Eligibility for Foreign Applicants

• Applications are invited from international applicants of Indian origin (PIO/ OCI/ NRI)
• The basic TISS Exam Eligibility for foreign applicants is similar to Indian students with the following additional requirements
• Proof of English Language Proficiency is essential for students situated in the non-English speaking country or whose mode of Instruction is not English.

How to Fill TISSNET Application Form 2020-21?

Applications for TISSNET 2021 will be invited at admissions.tiss.edu. The interested students can submit their applications when the TISSNET Notification is released. The detailed steps regarding TISS Registration in Online and Offline modes is mentioned below. 

Online Mode

• Visit the official website of TISS Admissions: admissions.tiss.edu
• Enter correct working email address
• Click on the registration link sent at the email address
• Login at the portal providing necessary details accurately
• Enter your personal information, academic details, preferred course and desired exam city
• Upload your photograph and Signature
• Upload necessary documents, as required by the TISSNET Application Form
• Submit the requisite Application Fee for TISSNET and Submit
• Acknowledge the completion mail received at registered email-id
• Obtain and save a copy of TISSNET 2021 Application Form for reference purposes

Offline Mode

• Send request for the form along with requisite TISSNET Application Fee to TISS Mumbai Campus at following address.

• Fill all the requisite details: Personal Information, Contact Details, Academic History, Preferred Courses, and finally Exam Cities

• Attach all necessary documents attested by any School/College Headmaster or a Gazetted Officer
• Send the completed TISSNET 2021 Form to TISS Mumbai along all attested documents. 

As mentioned earlier, the institute also invites TISSNET Application from Foreign candidates of Indian Origin. However, such candidates can apply from TISS Exam in online and offline mode. TISSNET Application Fee 2021

TISS invites application for admission to postgraduate programs. Interested candidates can choose up to three preferences in their TISSNET Application Form 2020-21. The Application Fee of TISS Form depends on the number of preferences filled by students. The Application Fee also depends upon the mode selected from the available Online and Offline Mode. General Instructions for Domestic Applicants

Since TISS does not invite any changes to submitted TISSNET Form, it is in the best interest of students to confer the general instructions laid out by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Please go through each and every instruction and follow them while applying for TISSNET 2021.

• Number of Courses: Candidates can only apply for a maximum of three programs across any two of the TISS Campuses. No Change of programs will be entertained once admission is successfully completed.
• Concession in Programme Selection Fee: Unemployed candidates, with family annual income less than Rs.2.5 Lakhs for SC/ST and Rs.1 lakh for OBC(NC), will have to pay only Rs.250/- for each program. However, their request will only be entertained if submit the necessary documents
• Relevant Certificates: Candidates have to upload all relevant certificates in the format mentioned. Any discrepancy in the certificates will result in the cancellation of their TISSNET Admission at any stage of the process.
• One Candidate, One Application: Candidate can apply for all of the three programs in ONE online form. If any candidate is found to have submitted more than one TISSNET Form, their candidature will be canceled.

General Instructions for Foreign Candidates

• Shortlisted International Applicants will be appearing for an Online Essay Test/ International Entrance Test followed by an Interview through video conferencing 
• In case candidates do not possess the required documents before the last date, they are to inform the IRO at Mumbai Campus to obtain permission for a late submission.
• International Applicants are advised to apply through International mode only. TISS does not accept applications of the candidate through both Indian and International channels. It will result in cancellation of candidature.

TISSNET 2021 Application Form Instructions

There are certain considerations students should keep in mind while filling out their TISS 2021 Application Form. Since there is no facility of amending corrections in TISS Form 2021, students are advised to follow the mentioned points with utter care and attention.

• Candidates should provide accurate and correct details
• No request regarding submission of TISS Application Form 2021 will be entertained after the last date
• Candidates are advised to submit the TISSNET 2021 Application Fee before the Last Date
• If the candidate is found guilty of having forged documents and providing incorrect details, the candidature is liable to be barred for the current and upcoming TISS Exam.
• The Photograph used should be recent and should follow the guidelines by TISS strictly

TISSNET 2021 Admit Card

Post successful registration of TISSNET 2021, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences will generate Admit Cards to registered applicants. TISSNET Admit Card 2021 will serve as a gate pass/hall ticket that will be mandatory for entry into the examination hall.
