NOTE: In addition to the tuition fees, candidates must pay a security deposit of INR 10,000. This deposit is refundable at the end of the course if the candidates do not cause any damage to the hostel or mess.

  • In order to be eligible, the candidate should have an annual family income of less than INR 2,50,000 (excluding HRA).  
  • Also, the candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% marks or more in one attempt in the qualifying examination. 

The following are the criteria for applying for a scholarship at the institute: 

  • Candidates must be enrolled in a full-time courses at NID Assam. 
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their previous degree. 
  • Candidates must demonstrate financial need.
