JEE Mains Paper 2 Aptitude Weightage 2022

Knowing the number of questions asked from each unit or topic will help enhance your preparation levels and score well in the upcoming exam.

According to the JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Pattern, the mathematics section will have two sections:

  • Section A will have 20 MCQs
  • Section B will have ten numerical value questions

However, you have to attempt only 5 out of 10 questions in section B. The question paper includes 30 questions in the mathematics section, and each question carries four marks.

Practice is the only key to scoring good marks in this section. Attempting 18-20 questions in the mathematics section would definitely help you score more than 95% in this section.

The following are some of the best tips to enhance your JEE main paper 2 preparation for the mathematics section.

  • Make sure to allocate at least 1-1.5 hours daily for the Maths section.
  • To get a good hold on this subject, solve as many practice questions as possible from the RD Sharma textbook.
  • Also, you can solve level 1 problems from the Cengane book.
