AFCAT Vacancy 2020

AFCAT 2020 released around 249 vacancies for various Ground Duty-Technical and  Ground Duty-Non Technical Branch and Flying Branch as well. AFCAT Eligibility 2020

The eligibility criteria for filling up the AFCAT 2019-20 Vacancies differs for both the Branches.

• Age Criteria for candidates: For Flying Branch through AFCAT/NCC Entry, the age limit is 20 to 24 years. (Born between January 2nd,1996 to January 1st, 2000).For the Ground Duty(Technical and Non-Technical), the age limit is 20 to 26 years(Born between January 2nd,1994 to January 1st, 2000).
• Educational Qualification: The Educational Qualification requirement differs for different posts. For the Flying Branch, the candidates should have cleared 10+2 with 60% with Maths and Physics. For more details, please go through the Official Notification Pdf.

AFCAT 2020 Important Facts

• PC posts for men: All the candidates who would be selected for PC Officers in the AFCAT 2019-20  will continue to serve till the age of superannuation as per their Rank and Branch.
• SSC posts for men and women: All the selected candidates ie Flying Branch-SSC Officers will have an engagement period of 14 years from the date of commissioning(non-extendable).
• The tenure for the SSC Officers for Ground Duty for both the Tech and Non-Tech Branches will be for 10 years in the beginning. Further, a Four-year extension may be added depending on the Service Requirement, availability of Vacancies, willingness, merit, etc.
