AFCAT Application Form 2019

The Indian Air Force invites eligible aspirants to fill the AFCAT Application Form 2019 for Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branches. The candidates who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria shall not fill the forms.

  • Candidates should not be below the age of 20 for both branches
  • The last date to fill the application form is June 30, 2019
  • It is advised to all the students to fill it correctly without creating any possibility of any kind of errors
  • The candidates can fill the form of AFCAT 2019 online on their official website
  • All students must have at least 60% marks in their Graduation
  • A fee of INR 250 has to be paid to submit the application form successfully

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2019

The students must satisfy the Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT Exam 2019 if they want to fill the application form. Without meeting the criteria for eligibility, the application form will be canceled.

AFCAT Age Limit

The students shall not be less than the age of 20. Check the following table for detailed age limit criteria:

Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch
  • 20 to 26 years (born between January 2, 1994, to January 1, 2000 (both dates inclusive))

AFCAT Qualification Criteria 2019

The students can check out the following table for the qualification criteria of AFCAT 2019:

Flying Branch  – Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and (a) Graduation with minimum of three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR (b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR (c) Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
-Ground Duty (Technical) Branch Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)} 4-year degree course with minimum 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level Must have cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers with 60% marks
Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) {AE (M)} minimum of 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/Technology from recognized University Cleared Sections A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent

NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch)  – NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate acquired on or after 01 Jan 17 minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2. Graduates with minimum of three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent OR BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent OR Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
Meteorology  – Post Graduate Degree in any Science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/Geography/Computer Applications/Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/Meteorology/Agricultural Meteorology/Ecology & Environment /Geophysics/Environmental Biology with minimum of 50% marks

How To Apply For AFCAT 2019?

The students must follow the steps given below in order to fill the AFCAT Application Form 2019:

Step 1: Registration

  • The first step is the New Registration
  • Visit the official website of AFCAT
  • Click on ‘Apply Now’
  • Now, look for the link called ‘Candidate’s Login’
  • Click on ‘New Candidate’
  • Now, the students will enter their personal details like Name, Phone Number, E-mail ID, etc
  • Then, the Registration Number & Password will be sent to the candidate’s Phone Number & E-mail ID
  • Click save and then proceed to the next page

Step 2: Login

  • Once the student has registered, they should now proceed and read the instructions very carefully
  • Fill the form in 2 parts: details regarding graduation & details regarding 10+2
  • Candidates are advised to fill the details accurately

Step 3: Uploading Documents & Payment

  • Now the students shall fill the personal details in the form
  • Then, the students shall upload scanned images of their passport size photo, signature & right thumb impression in the required format

Step 4: Payment

  • Next step is fee payment
  • The students, once the images are uploaded, must proceed to the payment page

AFCAT Application Fee

The students have to pay a specific charge to submit their Application Form for AFCAT 2019:

  • The candidates must pay INR 250 if they want to submit the application form
  • The fee is non-refundable
  • Now proceed to the Preview page
  • If there is any kind of error, correct it on the preview page by clicking in Edit
  • After this, the changes would be tough to make
  • Once everything is done correctly, the screen will show a message saying ‘Application Successfully Submitted to Indian Air Force’
