Rajasthan Judiciary Exam 2023 is conducted by the Rajasthan High Court every academic year.

It is an offline exam conducted at the exam centres selected by the students during the application process.

The exam is executed in 3 stages: Prelims, Mains, and interviews. 

The Main Examination for Direct Recruitment in the Civil Judge Cadre, 2022, was held on 30th April 2022 (Saturday) & 1st May 2022 (Sunday).

RJS Prelims Exam Paper Analysis

The overall difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate. Based on the paper analysis, the expected Rajasthan Judiciary Cut Off will be high.

  • There was only one question on case laws, and most were based on definitions.
  • The questions related to significant laws such as CrPC and the Indian Evidence Act were easy compared to those based on the Indian Penal Code.

  • The paper is predicted to be easy even for students studying bare acts.
  • Also, there were questions on maxims, static to interpretation, and 90% of the inquiries related to local laws were durable.
  • There were a few random questions on the limitation act. However, the questions were easy to answer.
  • This is the first time the level of difficulty of a language paper was easy.
  • Analyzing the language paper, English was easy, and Hindi was comparatively difficult. 
  • Schedule questions were asked, which were quite unpredictable.

RJS Exam Mains Paper 2023

The Mains paper was conducted on 30th April 2022 (Saturday) & 1st May 2022 (Sunday).

What can you expect in the paper? We can expect the paper to be moderate; however, let's keep our preparations to our best. 

The RJS Main Exam Pattern is as follows: 

  • Law Paper-I
  • Law Paper-II
  • Languages: Hindi Essay (Paper III) and English Essay (Paper IV) 

The minimum qualifying percentage in the Mains exam is 40%.

Previous Year RJS Exam Analysis

The analysis here is conducted for the academic year 2018. As per the student's review, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. 

  • There were two papers in the prelims exam: Law Paper-I and Law Paper-II, and all the questions were objectives.
  • The question paper consists of 100 questions, each with one mark.
  • Most of the questions in the prelims exam were from the Indian Contract Act, The Code of Criminal Procedure, The Limitation Act, The Rajasthan Rent Control Act, The Specific Relief Act, and The Probation of Offenders Act.
