тЧП        A 10-point resolution was adopted by consensus in the chairmanship of the Union Human Resource Development Minister, Shri Prakash Javadekar, on the closing day of the three day convention of Vice Chancellors.


10% growth is not possible without improvement in the Human Development Index
 
тЧП        Policy commission CEO Amitabh Kant has said that in order to achieve 10 per cent growth, the country needs to improve the Human Development Index .
тЧП        He said that such a development is not possible if the child and maternal mortality rate are high and one in three children is malnourished.

Under the institutes of excellence only government institutions will be given a grant of Rs.1000 crore
