ADB's approval for the project of the Son Canal system in Shahabad-Bhojpur area of Bihar

 
●        Today, the Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy R.K. Singh held a meeting with officials of the Asian Development Bank and the Ministry of Finance to review the progress of the project of the Son Nahar system of the Kishahabad-Bhojpur area of Bihar in his office in Delhi.
●        ADB representatives in the meeting told that ADB has approved the project.

54,723 children kidnapped in India in year 2016: Home Ministry
●        As many as 55,000 children were abducted from India this year according to the figures released by the Home Ministry in the year 2016.

●        This approval is an important tool in the direction of the purpose set out in the National Intellectual Property Act, adopted by the government on May 12, 2016.

Approval of big plan for relief and rehabilitation of migrants and returning people
●        The Union Cabinet has approved the continuation of 8 existing schemes of the Ministry of Home Affairs till March, 2020 under the larger scheme of 'Relief and rehabilitation of the people of migrants and returning people.'
●        The financial estimates for this purpose during the year 2017-18 to 2019-20 will be Rs. 31,83 crores.
●        For the yearly financial estimates 2017-18, Rs 911 crore, Rs 1372 crore for 2018-19 and Rs 900 crore for 2019-20.
