Documents Required at the time of Interview

A candidate, if declared successful in the Main Examination (Written) must send two sets of self-attested copies of the following documents to the Joint Registrar(Exams-DHJS & DJS), High Court of Delhi within 10 days of the declaration of the result accompanied by a covering letter indicating his/her Roll No. and Application Number:-

  • Proof of age (Certificate of Matriculation or other equivalent examination)
  • Mark Sheets and Pass Certificates in respect of Xth and XIIth Class
  • LL.B. degree or other equivalent law degrees
  • Semester wise Marksheets, Consolidated Marksheet, Certificates, and degrees of all courses passed or attended.
  • Advocate‟s license if practicing/Proof of enrolment/Enrolment Certificate, if enrolled with Bar.
  • Pass Certificate in respect of All India Bar Examination, if qualified
  • In case of a candidate who claims to belong to one of the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe categories, a Certificate issued by a Sub-Divisional Officer/Additional District Magistrate/Revenue Assistant or any other Officer, who has been designated by the State Government concerned as competent to issue such a certificate.
  • In case of a candidate claiming reservation/relaxation on account of being Persons with Disability (Blind/Low vision)/(Hearing Impaired)/(Locomotor disability)/(Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, and mental illness and Multiple disabilities mentioned under clauses (a) to (d) including deaf-blindness), a Certificate issued by a Government Hospital/Medical Board in support of his/her claim.
  • In case of a candidate claiming relaxation in age on account of his/her being Ex-Serviceman, Emergency Commissioned Officer or Short Service Commissioned Officer, documentary evidence in this regard.

The Delhi Judicial Services Recruitment examination will be conducted in three phases: the Preliminary, Mains, and the Interview Process. All three stages of the exam are qualifying in nature. Prelims

The preliminary exam will consist of Objective type MCQ questions with 25% negative marking and only the candidates who have been declared successful in this test will be eligible for the Main Examination. Pre-exam will consist of a maximum of 200 marks. 

In the Preliminary Examination, questions on general knowledge and aptitude of the candidate, candidate's power of expression, flair in English, knowledge of objective type legal problems, and their solutions covering the following:-

  • Code of Civil Procedure
  • Criminal Procedure Code

  • Contract Act

Mains
