How to Apply for CUCET - Detailed Process

CUCET Application Process is a five-step process that includes: Registration, Filling the form, Course and exam centre selection, Uploading documents, and Fee payment. 

Follow the step by step procedure to fill in the CUCET Application Form correctly. 

Step 1- Registration

To register, you are required to enter the given details:

• Name of the candidate
• Valid e-mail address
• Mobile number
• Date of Birth and
• Password (make sure that it is of a minimum of 6 characters)

After successful registration, you’ll receive a mail and message to the respective register mail id and mobile. You are also required to note down the application ID, printed on the top of the CUCET application form 2022.

Note: Keeping the application ID of CUCET 2022 safely is of utmost priority. You are advised to take a printout of the system generated online application forms after registering.

Step 2- Fill details in the  CUCET Application Form

After registering, you are needed to re-login using their application ID and password and enter personal and academic details. Mentioned below are the details that need to fill by you:

• Personal details (Father name, Gender, category, Aadhaar number, nationality, etc)
• Details of qualifying exams (Name of the board, marks obtained, passing year, percentage, grade, etc)
• Valid GATE Scores (if applicable)
• Address for correspondence
• Exam Centre
• Declaration
• Verification code

Save the above-mentioned details and proceed to the next step.

Step 3- Upload Photograph and Signature

In this step, you need to upload your photograph and signature in the prescribed format and ratio. Mentioned below is the details about the photograph and signature that need to be upload:

Step 4- Course Registration

You will have to register for the three courses in a particular selected program from each university. That is, you can apply for a maximum of 3 M.Tech programs offered by different participating institutions. Check out Courses Offered by CUCET and apply accordingly. 

Step 5- Payment of Application Fees

After entering all the details, review and edit (if required) the application form of CUCET 2022 and proceed towards the payment. Application fees can be paid in both online and offline mode.

The application fees for general/OBC to be paid by you is INR 800 and INR 350 for reserved categories. PWD candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

Note: *No extra charges will be paid by you if paying through online/debit/credit card.

Mode of Payment

• you could either pay CUCET 2022 application fee either online (credit/debit card/Net Banking) or offline (SBI Challan).
• you must note that an additional charge of INR 50 will be paid by all those who will opt for offline payment in the form of bank commission.
