NIACL AO Age Limit 2020: The minimum age limit to apply for NIACL AO Post is 21 years while the maximum age limit is 30 years.

	Legal - Graduate/Post-graduate in Law with at least 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).

NIACL AO Selection Process

The selection process comprises of three phases -

1. Prelims: The Prelims round is an objective-based exam which you have to clear by obtaining both the sectional and overall cut off marks.
2. Mains: The mains exam consists of an objective test and a descriptive test. There are two different mains exams for Generalists and Specialists posts
3. Interview: On clearing the Mains round, the successful candidates are called for the interview round. And the final selection list is based on the marks obtained in the mains exam and interview.

The Descriptive paper is of 30 marks that you need to complete within 30 minutes.

• Letter Writing - 10 Marks
• Essay Writing - 20 Marks

The Last round is the Interview round. And the marks shall be calculated with the Mains Result and Interview in a ratio of 80:20

NIACL AO Syllabus

Broadly speaking, the NIACL AO exam consists of three sections - English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Numerical Ability. The English Language section mainly consists of Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar, etc. Reasoning paper consists basically of Syllogism, Seating Arrangement, Blood Relation questions. And Numerical paper consists mostly of questions on Data Interpretation, Simplification, Mensuration.
