आंध्र प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री वाईएस जगन मोहन रेड्डी ने 'वाईएसआर बीमा' योजना शुरू की

• आंध्र प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री वाईएस जगन मोहन रेड्डी ने नए दिशानिर्देशों के साथ 'YSR बीमा' योजना शुरू की है, जहां सरकार स्वयं मृतक के परिवार को बीमा दावों को आसान बनाने के लिए सीधे बीमा राशि का भुगतान करेगी।
• YSR बीमा योजना के माध्यम से 1.32 लाख परिवारों का समर्थन करने के लिए, राज्य सरकार ने वर्ष 2021-22 के लिए 750 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए। पिछले दो वर्षों में राज्य सरकार ने YSR बीमा के लिए 1307 करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए हैं।

7वां IONS फ्रांस में संपन्न हुआ

• हिंद महासागर नौसेना संगोष्ठी (IONS) का 7वां संस्करण फ्रांस में 01 जुलाई, 2021 को संपन्न हुआ। 28 जून से 01 जुलाई 2021 तक द्विवार्षिक कार्यक्रम की मेजबानी फ्रांसीसी नौसेना द्वारा ला रीयूनियन में की गई थी। भारत से, एडमिरल करमबीर सिंह, प्रमुख नौसेना स्टाफ, भारतीय नौसेना, ने वर्चुअली आयोजन के उद्घाटन सत्र में भाग लिया। फ्रांस संगोष्ठी का वर्तमान अध्यक्ष है, जिसने 29 जून 2021 को दो वर्ष के कार्यकाल के लिए अध्यक्षता ग्रहण की।
• हिंद महासागर नौसेना संगोष्ठी (IONS) क्षेत्रीय रूप से समुद्री सुरक्षा सहयोग, क्षेत्रीय समुद्री मुद्दों पर चर्चा और मैत्रीपूर्ण संबंधों को बढ़ावा देने जैसे प्रासंगिक समुद्री मुद्दों पर चर्चा के लिए एक खुला और समावेशी मंच प्रदान करके, सदस्य राज्यों की नौसेनाओं के बीच समुद्री सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र के तटीय राज्यों के बीच आयोजित द्विवार्षिक बैठकों की एक श्रृंखला है।

राष्ट्रपति कोविंद ने लखनऊ में अम्बेडकर स्मारक और सांस्कृतिक केंद्र की आधारशिला रखी

• राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने लखनऊ में अंबेडकर स्मारक और सांस्कृतिक केंद्र की आधारशिला रखी। सांस्कृतिक केंद्र लखनऊ में ऐशबाग ईदगाह के सामने 5493.52 वर्ग मीटर नजूल भूमि पर बनेगा और इसमें डॉ अंबेडकर की 25 फीट ऊंची प्रतिमा होगी।
• 45.04 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनने वाले इस केंद्र में 750 लोगों की क्षमता वाला एक सभागार, पुस्तकालय, अनुसंधान केंद्र, पिक्चर गैलरी, संग्रहालय और एक बहुउद्देश्यीय सम्मेलन केंद्र भी होगा।

1 जुलाई 2015 से 1 जुलाई 2021 तक डिजिटल इंडिया ने 6 वर्ष सफलतापूर्वक पूर्ण किए

• डिजिटल इंडिया पहल ने 1 जुलाई 2021 को अपने छह वर्ष पूरे कर लिए हैं। डिजिटल इंडिया भारत को डिजिटल रूप से सशक्त समाज और ज्ञान अर्थव्यवस्था में बदलने के लिए सरकार की प्रमुख योजना है। इसे 1 जुलाई 2015 को प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा लॉन्च किया गया था। पिछले 6 वर्षों में, सरकार ने डायरेक्ट बेनेट ट्रांसफर, कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर, डिजिलॉकर और मोबाइल-आधारित उमंग सेवाओं जैसी कई डिजिटल पहल शुरू की हैं।
• आधार की मदद से सरकार ने भारत के 129 करोड़ लोगों को डिजिटल पहचान प्रदान की है। जनधन बैंक खातों, मोबाइल फोन और आधार (JAM) ने डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म के माध्यम से विभिन्न योजनाओं का लाभ प्रदान करने में सरकार की मदद की।

• पूर्व भारतीय फुटबॉलर एम प्रसन्नन का निधन हो गया है। 1970 के दशक के एक प्रतिभाशाली मिडफील्डर, उन्होंने इंदर सिंह और दोराईस्वामी नटराज जैसे भारतीय फुटबॉल के दिग्गजों के साथ ड्रेसिंग रूम साझा किया।
• वह संतोष ट्रॉफी राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल चैम्पियनशिप में केरल, महाराष्ट्र और गोवा के लिए खेले थे।

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहकारिता दिवस 2021: 3 जुलाई

• संयुक्त राष्ट्र सहकारिता के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए प्रत्येक वर्ष जुलाई के पहले शनिवार को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहकारिता दिवस मनाता है। इस वर्ष 2021 में, जलवायु परिवर्तन से निपटने के लिए सहकारी समितियों के योगदान पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हुए 3 जुलाई को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहकारिता दिवस मनाया जा रहा है।
• इस 3 जुलाई को, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहकारिता दिवस (#CoopsDay) को "एक साथ बेहतर पुनर्निर्माण" के रूप में मनाया जाएगा। विश्‍व भर की सहकारी समितियां दिखाएंगी कि कैसे वे एकजुटता और लचीलेपन के साथ C-19 महामारी संकट का सामना कर रही हैं और समुदायों को एक जन-केंद्रित और पर्यावरण की दृष्टि से ठीक होने की पेशकश कर रही हैं।
• संयुक्त राष्ट्र 1923 से प्रतिवर्ष जुलाई के पहले शनिवार को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहकारिता दिवस मना रहा है। सहकारी समितियों को ऐसे संघों और उद्यमों के रूप में स्वीकार किया गया है, जिनके माध्यम से नागरिक अपने समुदाय और राष्ट्र की आर्थिक, सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक के साथ-साथ राजनीतिक उन्नति में योगदान देकर अपने जीवन को प्रभावी ढंग से बेहतर बना सकते हैं। सहकारी समितियां विश्‍व भर में 280 मिलियन लोगों को रोजगार देती हैं, जो विश्‍व की नियोजित आबादी का 10% है।

एचडीएफसी बैंक ने डॉक्टरों के लिए 'सलाम दिल से' पहल शुरू की

• HDFC बैंक ने देश भर के डॉक्टरों को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए महामारी के दौरान डॉक्टरों की अथक सेवा के लिए उनका आभार व्यक्त करने के लिए 'सलाम दिल से' पहल शुरू की। सलाम दिल से सभी को डॉक्टरों के योगदान को स्वीकार करने और उसका जश्न मनाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करता है और डॉक्टरों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करने के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करता है, जो अपनी जान जोखिम में डालकर महामारी से बहादुरी से लड़ रहे हैं।
• इस पहल के हिस्से के रूप में, बैंक ने एक वेब प्लेटफॉर्म www.salaamdilsey.com बनाया है, जिसमें आम जनता माइक्रोसाइट पर लॉगऑन कर सकती है और डॉक्टरों के लिए धन्यवाद संदेश साझा कर सकती है, जिसे तुरंत ई-मेल, सोशल मीडिया और व्हाट्सएप के माध्यम से साझा किया जा सकता है।

आईसीआईसीआई बैंक ने सभी डॉक्टर के लिए बैंकिंग समाधान 'सैल्यूट डॉक्टर्स' लॉन्च किया,

• ICICI बैंक ने मेडिकल डॉक्टरों के लिए भारत का सबसे व्यापक बैंकिंग समाधान लॉन्च किया है। 'सैल्यूट डॉक्टर्स' के नाम से यह समाधान हर डॉक्टर के लिए अनुकूलित बैंकिंग के साथ-साथ मूल्य वर्धित सेवाएं प्रदान करता है, जिसमें एक मेडिकल छात्र से लेकर एक वरिष्ठ चिकित्सा सलाहकार से लेकर अस्पताल या क्लिनिक के मालिक तक शामिल हैं।
• समाधान, ज्यादातर डिजिटल और तत्काल हैं, जिन्हें डॉक्टरों और उनके परिवारों की पेशेवर, व्यवसाय, जीवन शैली और धन बैंकिंग आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है। यह पहल ICICI स्टैक द्वारा संचालित है, जो लगभग 500 सेवाओं के साथ एक डिजिटल बैंकिंग प्लेटफॉर्म है, जो बैंक के ग्राहकों को डिजिटल और निर्बाध रूप से सेवाओं का लाभ उठाने में मदद करता है।

 1 जुलाई 2021 को भारतीय स्टेट बैंक ने 66वां स्थापना दिवस मनाया

• देश का सबसे पुराना वाणिज्यिक बैंक, भारतीय स्टेट बैंक, SBI, 1 जुलाई को अपना 66 वां वर्ष मना रहा है। SBI 1806 में इंपीरियल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के माध्यम से स्थापित बैंक ऑफ कलकत्ता से बना है।
• बैंक ऑफ मद्रास को अन्य दो प्रेसीडेंसी बैंकों, बैंक ऑफ़ कलकत्ता और बैंक ऑफ़ बॉम्बे का विलय कर इंपीरियल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया बनाया गया, जो बाद में 1955 में इस दिन भारतीय स्टेट बैंक बन गया।

सरकार ने दूसरी तिमाही के लिए लघु बचत योजनाओं पर ब्याज दरों को अपरिवर्तित रखा

• भारत सरकार ने घोषणा की है कि 2021-22 की दूसरी तिमाही (जुलाई-सितंबर) के लिए लघु बचत योजनाओं पर ब्याज दर 2021-2022 की अंतिम तिमाही (अप्रैल-जून) की तरह अपरिवर्तित रहेगी। यह ध्यान दिया जाना चाहिए कि सरकार तिमाही आधार पर छोटी बचत योजनाओं के लिए ब्याज दरों को अधिसूचित करती है।
• 2021-22 की तिमाही-2 (जुलाई-सितंबर) के लिए विभिन्न ब्याज दरें निम्‍न हैं-
• डाकघर बचत खाता-4%
• डाकघर सावधि जमा (टीडी) खाता - एक, दो और तीन (वर्ष) के लिए-5.5%

Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched ‘YSR Bima’ scheme

• Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched the ‘YSR Bima’ scheme with new guidelines, where the government itself will directly pay the insurance amount to the family of the deceased to make the insurance claims easier.
• In order to support 1.32 lakh families through the YSR Bima scheme, the State government allocated Rs 750 crores for the year 2021-22. In the last two years, the State government had spent Rs 1307 crore for YSR Bima.

7th IONS Concluded in France

• The 7th edition of the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS), concluded in France on July 01, 2021. The biennial event was hosted by the French Navy at La Réunion from 28 June to 01 July 2021. From India, Admiral Karambir Singh, Chief of the Naval Staff, Indian Navy, participated in the inaugural session of the event virtually. France is the current chair of the Symposium, which assumed the Chairmanship on 29 June 2021 for a two-year tenure.
• The Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) is a series of biennial meetings, held between the littoral states of the Indian Ocean region, to enhance maritime cooperation among Navies of the member states, by providing an open and inclusive forum for discussion of regionally relevant maritime issues such as maritime security cooperation, discuss regional maritime issues, and promote friendly relationships.

President Kovind Laid Foundation Stone For Ambedkar Memorial And Cultural Centre in Lucknow

• President Ram Nath Kovind laid the foundation stone for Ambedkar Memorial and Cultural Centre in Lucknow. The cultural centre will come up at 5493.52 sq meter nazool land in front of Aishbagh Eidgah in Lucknow and have a 25-ft high statue of Dr Ambedkar.
• The centre, to come up at a cost of ₹45.04 crores, will also have an auditorium having a capacity of 750 people, library, research centre, picture gallery, museum and a multi-purpose convention centre.

Digital India completed 6 years of journey from 1 July 2015

• Digital India has completed its 6 years of journey on July 1, 2021. Digital India is a government’s flagship scheme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. This unique flagship programme of the Government of India was launched on 1 July 2015 with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.
• It started as an attempt to improve access to critical Government services by making the country digitally empowered through improved infrastructure and connectivity. The programme has been enabled for several important Government schemes, such as BharatNet, Make in India, Startup India and Standup India, industrial corridors, etc.
• With the help of Aadhaar, Government has provided digital identity to 129 crore people of India. Jandhan bank Accounts, mobile phones, and Aadhaar (JAM) helped the government in providing benefits of the different schemes through digital platforms.

OBITUARY

Former Indian footballer M. Prasannan passed away

• Former Indian footballer M Prasannan has passed away. A gifted midfielder of the 1970s, he shared the dressing room with stalwarts of Indian football like Inder Singh and Doraiswamy Natraj.
• He played for Kerala, Maharashtra, and Goa in Santosh Trophy National Football Championship.

International Day of Cooperatives 2021: 3 July

• The United Nations celebrates the International Day of Cooperatives every year on the first Saturday of July to increase awareness of cooperatives. In the year 2021, the International Day of Cooperatives will be celebrated on 3rd July with a focus on the contribution of cooperatives to combating climate change.
• This July 3rd, the International Day of Cooperatives (#CoopsDay) will be celebrated as “Rebuild better together”. Cooperatives around the world will showcase how they are meeting the COVID-19 pandemic crisis with solidarity and resilience and offering communities a people-centred and environmentally just recovery.
• United Nations is celebrating the International Day of Cooperatives every year on the first Saturday of July since 1923. Co-operatives have been acknowledged as associations and enterprises through which citizens can effectively make their lives better by contributing to the economic, social, cultural as well as political advancement of their community and nation. Cooperatives employ 280 million people across the globe which is 10% of the world’s employed population.

HDFC Bank launcheed ‘Salaam Dil Sey’ initiative for Doctors

• HDFC Bank launched a SalaamDilSey initiative to show gratitude to doctors for their tireless service during the pandemic, to pay tribute to doctors across the country. SalaamDilSey encourages one and all to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution of doctors and provides a platform to show their gratitude to doctors, who are bravely fighting the pandemic, at the risk of their own lives.
• As part of this initiative, the bank has created a web platform www.salaamdilsey.com wherein the general public can logon on to the microsite and share the thank you message for doctors which can be immediately shared via e-mail, social media, and WhatsApp.

ICICI Bank launched ‘Salute Doctors’, banking solution for every doctors

• ICICI Bank has launched India’s most comprehensive banking solutions for medical doctors. Titled as ‘Salute Doctors’, the solution offers customized banking as well as value-added services for every doctor, beginning from a medical student to a senior medical consultant to an owner of a hospital or a clinic.
• The solutions, are mostly digital and instant, designed to cater to the professional, business, lifestyle and wealth banking requirements of doctors and their families. The initiative is powered by ICICI STACK, a digital banking platform with nearly 500 services that helps customers of the Bank to avail the services digitally and seamlessly.

 State Bank of India celebrated 66th Foundation Day on 1st July 2021

• The oldest commercial bank in the country, State Bank of India, SBI, is celebrating its 66th year on 1st July. SBI descends from the Bank of Calcutta founded in 1806 through the Imperial Bank of India.
• The Bank of Madras merged into the other two presidency banks, the bank of Calcutta and the bank of Bombay to form the Imperial Bank of India which in turn became the State Bank of India on this day in 1955.

Government keeps interest rates on Small Savings Schemes unchanged for second quarter

• The government of India has announced that the rate of interest on Small Savings Schemes for the second quarter (July-Sept) of 2021-22 will remain unchanged as the last quarter (April-June) of 2021-2022. It must be noted that the Government notifies the Interest rates for small savings schemes on a quarterly basis.
