गोवा बना के लिए Self-Assessment Tool लॉन्च करने वाला पहला राज्य 

गोवा,  के लिए एक स्व-मूल्यांकन उपकरण (self-assessment tool) लॉन्च करने वाला पहला भारतीय राज्य बन गया है। स्व-मूल्यांकन टूल, जिसे टेस्ट योरसेल्फ गोवा कहा जाता है। यह उपकरण लोगों को यह बिना डॉक्टर या अस्पताल आए पहचानने में मदद करता है कि क्या वे से संक्रमित हैं? गोवा सरकार ने अमेरिका की हेल्थकेयर डेटा एनालिटिक्स कंपनी इनोवैसर (Innovaccer) के साथ साझेदारी की है, जिसने सेल्फ-असेसमेंट प्लेटफॉर्म विकसित किया है। 

यह टूल, व्यक्ति को self-quarantine, हेल्पलाइन नंबरों पर जानकारी देकर संबंधित अधिकारियों तक पहुंचने के लिए आगे कदम उठाने में सहायता करेगा। यह उपकरण अंग्रेजी, कोंकणी और हिंदी में उपलब्ध है और यह स्मार्टफ़ोन पर भी काम करेगा। 

भारतीय सेना प्रमुख ने का मुकाबला करने के लिए 'ऑपरेशन नमस्ते' शुरू किया 

• सेना प्रमुख जनरल मनोज मुकुंद नरवने ने सरकार को के प्रसार में सहायता प्रदान करने और महामारी से बल को हटाने के लिए ऑपरेशन नमस्ते ’शुरू किया है। ऑपरेशन के तहत, सेना भारत सरकार को घातक बीमारी से लड़ने में मदद करेगी। 

• भारतीय सेना ने अब तक 8 संगरोध स्थापित किए हैं। सेना ने सेना के जवानों को खुद को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए दिशा-निर्देश भी जारी किए हैं क्योंकि परिचालन और रणनीति के कारण सामाजिक गड़बड़ी को बनाए रखना मुश्किल है। 

मध्य प्रदेश, भारत का सबसे स्वच्छ शहर- इंदौर ने रसायनों को छिड़ककर के प्रकोप के खिलाफ शहर के क्षेत्रों को साफ करने के लिए ड्रोन तैनात किए 

• मध्य प्रदेश में भारत के सबसे स्वच्छ शहर इंदौर ने प्रकोप के खिलाफ शहर के क्षेत्रों को साफ करने के लिए ड्रोन तैनात किए हैं। 

• यह इंदौर का इस तरह के से लड़ने का प्रयास करने वाला देश का पहला शहर बना। 

• पहल एक पहला प्रकार का प्रयास है जिसके द्वारा भीड़-भाड़ वाले क्षेत्रों को रसायनों के छिड़काव वाले ड्रोन की मदद से साफ किया जाता है। 

अंतरराष्ट्रीय 

संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने के खिलाफ लड़ने के लिए वैश्विक मानवीय प्रतिक्रिया योजना शुरू की 

संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने के खिलाफ लड़ने के लिए वैश्विक मानवीय प्रतिक्रिया योजना शुरू की। संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने इस योजना को लागू करने के लिए 2 बिलियन डालर आवंटित किए हैं। यह योजना अफ्रीका, दक्षिण अमेरिका, मध्य पूर्व और एशिया के 51 देशों में शुरू की गई है। 

मुख्य बिंदु 

यह योजना संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गैर सरकारी संगठनों के साथ सीधे सहयोग से क्रियान्वित की जायेगी। इस योजना के तहत का परीक्षण करने के लिए आवश्यक चिकित्सा आपूर्ति और प्रयोगशाला उपकरण वितरित किये जायेंगे। इसके अलावा विभिन्न बस्तियों में हाथ धोने के स्टेशनों को स्थापित किया जाएगा। इसके साथ ही सार्वजनिक सूचना अभियान भी शुरू किए जायेंगे। यह अभियान लोगों में जागरूकता पैदा करेंगे। 

बैंकिंग और अर्थव्यवस्था 

लघु उद्योग विकास बैंक (SIDBI) सूक्ष्म और लघु उद्यमों (MSE) को 50 लाख रुपये तक का ऋण प्रदान करेगा 

• लघु उद्योग विकास बैंक (SIDBI) सूक्ष्म और लघु उद्यमों (MSE) को 50 लाख रुपये तक का ऋण प्रदान करेगा जो से लड़ने के लिए चिकित्सा आपूर्ति का निर्माण कर रहे हैं। 

• इमरजेंसी (SAFE) की सुविधा के लिए सिडबी सहायता 5% की निश्चित ब्याज दर पर MSE को ऋण प्रदान करेगी और अधिकतम ऋण चुकौती की अवधि पांच साल होगी। 

• पेश किए गए ऋण संपार्श्विक-मुक्त होते हैं और दस्तावेजों को लागू करने और इसे जमा करने के 48 घंटों के भीतर इसकी मंजूरी दे दी जाती है। 

CRISIL ने वित्त वर्ष 2021 के लिए भारत के GDP विकास के अनुमान में कटौती की 

• CRISIL ने वित्त वर्ष 2021 (2020-21) के लिए सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) के विकास के पूर्वानुमान को पहले की अपेक्षा 5.2% से घटाकर 3.5% कर दिया है। 

• यह महामारी के कारण कटौती की गयी है। 

ICRA ने वित्त वर्ष 2021 के लिए भारत की GDP वृद्धि को 2% पर भविष्यवाणी की 

• रेटिंग एजेंसी ICRA ने प्रभाव के कारण 2020-21 (FY21) में भारत के लिए जीडीपी विकास दर 2% होने की भविष्यवाणी की है। 

• वित्त वर्ष 2020 के लिए, ICRA ने भारत के लिए जीडीपी विकास दर 5% होने की भविष्यवाणी की थी। 

समझौते और सम्मेएलन 

एनटीपीसी ने टीएचडीसी और नीपको को खरीदा, सरकार को मिले 11,500 करोड़ रुपए 

सरकार ने दो बिजली कंपनियों का रणनीतिक विनिवेश कर 11,500 करोड़ रुपए जुटाए। इन दोनों सरकारी कंपनियों के नाम हैं टीएचडीसी और एनईईपीसीओ (नीपको)। इन दोनों कंपनियों का अधिग्रहण एनटीपीसी ने किया है। इसके साथ ही विनिवेश से सरकार की कुल कमाई चालू कारोबारी साल में बढ़कर 46,500 करोड़ रुपए पर पहुंच गई। चालू कारोबारी साल में सरकार ने विनिवेश से 1.05 लाख करोड़ रुपए कमाने का लक्ष्य रखा था। हालांकि संशोधित अनुमान में इसे घटाकर 65,000 करोड़ रुपए कर दिया गया है। 

केंद्र ने टीएचडीसी में अपनी 74.49 फीसदी और नीपको में 100 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी बेची 

सरकार को टीएचडीसी बेचकर 7,500 करोड़ और नीपको बेचकर 4,000 करोड़ रुपए मिले। टीएचडीसी में सरकार ने अपनी 74.49 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी बेची। नीपको में सरकार ने अपनी 100 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी बेच दी है। आर्थिक मामलों की मंत्रिमंडलीय समिति ने नवंबर 2019 में नॉर्थ ईस्टर्न इलेक्ट्रिक पावर कॉरपोरेशन (नीपको) और टीएचडीसी में अपनी हिस्सेदारी एनटीपीसी को बेचे जाने की मंजूरी दी थी। 

शोक सन्देश 

समाजवादी पार्टी के राज्यसभा सदस्य व पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री बेनी प्रसाद वर्मा का लखनऊ में निधन 

पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री व प्रदेश सरकार में मंत्री रह चुके समाजवादी नेता बेनी प्रसाद वर्मा का शुक्रवार को शाम साढ़े छह बजे निधन हो गया। तबीयत खराब होने पर शुक्रवार दोपहर दो बजे उन्हें लखनऊ के मेदांता अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। 'बेनी बाबू' के नाम से प्रसिद्ध वर्मा समाजवादी पार्टी के संस्थापक सदस्यों में थे और मुलायम सिंह यादव के निकटस्थ माने जाते थे। बेनी प्रसाद वर्मा समाजवादी पार्टी के राज्यसभा सदस्य थे। उनके निधन पर मुलायम व सपा अध्यक्ष अखिलेश समेत कई नेताओं ने शोक जताया है। 

केंद्र में इस्पात मंत्री रह चुके 79 वर्षीय बुजुर्ग समाजवादी नेता बेनी प्रसाद वर्मा को डेढ़ माह में दो बार इलाज के लिए भर्ती कराया गया जा चुका था। वह सांस समेत कई बीमारियों से पीड़ित थे। मेदांता अस्पताल लखनऊ के मेडिकल डायरेक्टर डॉ. राकेश कपूर के मुताबिक करीब डेढ़ माह से उनका उपचार चल रहा था। उन्हें पैंक्रिटाइटिस की समस्या थी। डॉक्टरों ने पैंक्रियाज में कैंसर की संभावना जताई थी। वह गठिया के साथ-साथ गुर्दे की बीमारी से भी पीड़ित थे। शुक्रवार दोपहर वह बेहोशी की हालत में लाए गए थे, डॉक्टरों ने काफी प्रयास किया मगर, शाम साढ़े छह बजे उनका निधन हो गया।

Goa becomes the 1st state to launch assessment tool for Current Situation

• Goa becomes the first Indian state to launch a self-assessment tool. The self-assessment tool called Test Yourself Goa. This tool helps people identify if they are infected by the virus without visiting a doctor or hospital. 

• The Goa government has partnered with Innovaccer, a US-based healthcare data analytics company that developed the self-assessment platform. 

• The tool will then assist the person to take further steps by providing information on self-quarantine, helpline numbers to reach out to the concerned authorities. The tool is accessible in English, Konkani & Hindi and will also work on Smartphones. 

Indian army Chief starts ‘Operation Namaste’ to combat Current Situation

• Army Chief Gen Manoj Mukund Naravane has launched ‘Operation Namaste’ to extend assistance to the govt in containing the spread and insulate the force from the current situation. Under the operation, the army will help the Government of India fight against the deadly disease. 

• Indian Army has established 8 quarantine so far. Army has also issued guidelines for army men to keep themselves safe as it is difficult to maintain social distancing due to operational and tactical. 

India’s Cleanest City Indore Becomes First in the Country to Opt for Drones to Sanitise City 

• Indore, the cleanest city of India in Madhya Pradesh, has deployed drones to sanitize city areas against the current situation 

• This makes Indore as the first city in the country to attempt to fight off the virus scare this way. 

• The initiative is a first-of-its kind attempt by which crowded areas are sanitised with the help of drones sprinkling chemicals. 

International 

UN launches US$2 billion Global Humanitarian Response Plan to fight 

• United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has launched a US$2.012 

billion coordinated  Global Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) to fight in some of the world’s most vulnerable countries. 

• The Global HRP has been launched for a period of nine months (April–December 2020) 

• The response plan will be coordinated by UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, and will bring together requirements from World Health Organization and other UN humanitarian agencies. 

• To kick-start the response plan, $60 million has been released from the UN’s Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) 

Banking and Economy 

Sidbi to provide loans up to Rs 50 lakh to MSEs manufacturing medical supplies to fight virus

• Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) will provide loans up to Rs 50 lakh to micro and small enterprises (MSEs) that are manufacturing medical supplies for fighting. 

• The Sidbi Assistance to Facilitate Emergency (SAFE) will offer loans to MSEs at a fixed interest rate of 5%and with a maximum loan repayment tenure of five years. 

• The loans offered are collateral-free and will be sanctioned within 48 hours of applying and submission of documents. 

CRISIL cuts India’s GDP growth forecast for FY2021 to 3.5% 

• CRISIL has slashed the gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast for FY2021 (2020-21) to 3.5% from 5.2% expected earlier. 

ICRA predicts India’s GDP growth for FY21 at 2% 

• Rating agency ICRA has predicted the GDP Growth rate for India in 2020-21 (FY21) at 2% due to the impact. 

• For FY20, ICRA had predicted the GDP growth rate for India at 5%.

NTPC concludes acquisition of govt’s stake in THDC, NEEPCO at Rs 11,500 cr 

• National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) concluded the acquisition of Centre’s entire stake in two hydropower generating firms, Tehri Hydro Power Complex (THDC) India and North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO), at Rs 11,500 crore. 

• Under the deal, NTPC acquired the latter’s 74.496 % equity stake in THDC India Ltd (THDCIL) for Rs 7,500 crore & its 100% equity in North-Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPC) for Rs 4,000 crore respectively.

Samajwadi Party founding member Beni Prasad passes away 

• Former Union Minister and founding member of the Samajwadi party, Beni Prasad Verma passed away on March 27, 2020. He was 79. 

• The Samajwadi Party tweeted condoling the death of the senior party leader saying that the demise of the leader is an irreparable loss.
