भारत-ऑस्ट्रेलिया में उद्घाटन 2+2 मंत्रिस्तरीय संवाद 10-12 सितंबर 2021

• भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया अपनी पहली 2+2 मंत्रिस्तरीय वार्ता नई दिल्ली में हैदराबाद हाउस में कर रहे हैं। उच्च स्तरीय विदेश और रक्षा मंत्रिस्तरीय वार्ता दोनों देशों के बीच समग्र रक्षा और रणनीतिक सहयोग को आगे बढ़ाएगी, जिसमें क्षेत्र में चीन की बढ़ती सैन्य मुखरता के बीच भारत-प्रशांत सहयोग भी शामिल है।
• उद्घाटन 'टू-प्लस-टू' वार्ता में भारतीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर और रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह क्रमशः अपने ऑस्ट्रेलियाई समकक्ष मारिसे पायने और पीटर डट्टन के साथ कर रहे हैं। भारत में संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका और जापान सहित बहुत कम देशों के साथ 2-2 मंत्रिस्तरीय बैठक की रूपरेखा है।

प्रहलाद सिंह पटेल ने खाद्य प्रसंस्करण इकाई मध्य प्रदेश का उद्घाटन किया

• केंद्र ने रविवार को खाद्य प्रसंस्करण सप्ताह के उत्सव के अंतिम दिन प्रधानमंत्री किसान संपदा योजना के तहत मध्य प्रदेश में एक खाद्य प्रसंस्करण इकाई का उद्घाटन किया।
• भारत की आजादी के 75 वर्ष पूरे होने के उपलक्ष्य में, भारत सरकार 'आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव' मना रही है। उत्सव के एक भाग के रूप में, खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्योग मंत्रालय 6-12 सितंबर तक खाद्य प्रसंस्करण सप्ताह मना रहा है जिसके तहत मंत्रालय विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन कर रहा है।
• खाद्य प्रसंस्करण सप्ताह के अंतिम दिन केंद्रीय खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्योग राज्य मंत्री प्रह्लाद सिंह पटेल ने मध्यप्रदेश के मुरैना में स्थापित मेसर्स सहारा फ्रोजेन फूड्स की कोल्ड चेन योजना के तहत खाद्य प्रसंस्करण इकाई का उद्घाटन किया।

 उत्तराखंड में विकसित हुई भारत की सबसे बड़ी ओपन एयर फर्नी

• भारत पौधों और जानवरों की प्रजातियों की अधिकता का घर है। देश की भौगोलिक और मौसम की स्थिति विभिन्न प्रजातियों की वृद्धि और विकास के लिए उपयुक्त है। उत्तराखंड के प्राकृतिक वन इनमें से कुछ की मेजबानी करने के लिए जाने जाते हैं। अद्वितीय ब्लैक-बेलिड कोरल स्नेक से लेकर क्रिप्टोगैमिक प्रजातियों तक, जंगल वनस्पतियों और जीवों के लिए एक गुप्त केंद्र है।
• इसी के तहत उत्तराखंड के रानीखेत में आज, 12 सितंबर को भारत की सबसे बड़ी ओपन-एयर फर्नी का उद्घाटन किया गया। फ़र्नरी बड़ी संख्या में फ़र्न प्रजातियों का घर है, जिनमें से कुछ राज्य के लिए स्थानिक हैं, कुछ औषधीय महत्व रखते हैं जबकि कुछ खतरे वाली प्रजातियां हैं जो देखभाल और संरक्षण की मांग करती हैं।

 प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सरदारधाम भवन का उद्घाटन किया

• प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए गुजरात के अहमदाबाद में सरदारधाम भवन का उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने सरदारधाम फेज- II कन्या छात्रालय (बालिका छात्रावास) परियोजना का "भूमि पूजन" भी किया। ये दोनों प्रतिष्ठान "भारत के लौह पुरुष," सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल को समर्पित हैं। यह परियोजना विश्व पाटीदार समाज द्वारा विकसित की गई है।
• अत्याधुनिक सरदारधाम भवन ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों की लड़कियों और लड़कों को अलग-अलग छात्रावास की सुविधा प्रदान करता है जो बेहतर कैरियर की संभावनाओं की आकांक्षा रखते हैं।
• सरदारधाम भवन परियोजना का पहला चरण अहमदाबाद-गांधीनगर सीमा क्षेत्र में वैष्णोदेवी सर्कल के पास, 200 करोड़ रुपये की अनुमानित लागत से 11,672 वर्ग फुट के क्षेत्र में बनाया गया है। इसमें 800 लड़के और 800 लड़कियों सहित 1,600 छात्र रहेंगे।
• सरदारधाम परियोजना के दूसरे चरण में करीब 2,000 छात्राओं के रहने की उम्मीद है। परियोजना का निर्माण अन्य 200 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से किया जाएगा।

डेनियल रिचार्डो ने मैकलारेन के मोंज़ा में इतालवी ग्रां प्री जीता

• डेनियल रिचार्डो (मॅकलारेन, ऑस्ट्रेलियाई-इतालवी) ने इटली के ऑटोड्रोमो नाज़ियोनेल मोंज़ा ट्रैक पर आयोजित फॉर्मूला वन इटैलियन ग्रां प्री 2021 का खिताब जीता है।
• मॅकलारेन की 9 वर्ष में यह पहली जीत है। F1 रेस में लैंडो नॉरिस दूसरे जबकि वाल्टेरी बोटास तीसरे स्थान पर रहे। लुईस हैमिल्टन और मैक्स वेर्स्टाप्पेन टक्कर के कारण इतालवी ग्रां प्री 2021 से बाहर हो गए।

 डेनियल मेदवेदेव ने 2021 यूएस ओपन मेन्स फाइनल में नोवाक जोकोविच को हराया

• डेनियल मेदवेदेव ने न्यूयॉर्क के आर्थर ऐश स्टेडियम में यूएस ओपन पुरुष एकल फाइनल में नोवाक जोकोविच को दो घंटे सोलह मिनट में 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 से हराकर सोमवार को अपनी पहली ग्रैंड स्लैम ट्रॉफी जीती।
• जबकि जोकोविच डॉन बज (1938) और रॉड लेवर (1962, 1969) के बाद एक ही वर्ष में सभी चार बड़ी जीत हासिल करने वाले तीसरे व्यक्ति बनने में विफल रहे, मेदवेदेव ने एक यादगार जीत के साथ यूएस ओपन में शानदार प्रदर्शन किया।

भूपेंद्र पटेल गुजरात के नए मुख्यमंत्री

• बीजेपी विधायक दल की बैठक में पहली बार विधायक बने भूपेंद्र पटेल को गुजरात का नया मुख्यमंत्री चुना गया है। वह अहमदाबाद की घाटलोदिया विधानसभा सीट से भाजपा विधायक हैं। यह कदम गुजरात के सीएम पद से विजय रूपाणी के इस्तीफे देने के बाद आया है।
• भूपेंद्र पटेल ने सिविल इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा किया है और उन्होंने सरदार धाम और वर्ल्ड उमिया फाउंडेशन सहित पाटीदार ट्रस्टों और संगठनों में पदों पर कार्य किया है। वह अहमदाबाद नगर निगम में स्थायी समिति के अध्यक्ष और अहमदाबाद शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण (AUDA) के अध्यक्ष भी रह चुके हैं।

साहित्य अकादमी विजेता अजीज हाजिनी का निधन

• प्रख्यात लेखक और जम्मू-कश्मीर की कला, संस्कृति और भाषा अकादमी के पूर्व सचिव अजीज हाजिनी का शनिवार देर रात निधन हो गया। वे 64 वर्ष के थे और कुछ समय से बीमार चल रहे थे।
•  उत्तरी कश्मीर के बांदीपुर जिले के सोनवारी की रहने वाली हाजिनी ने जम्मू-कश्मीर की कला, संस्कृति और भाषा अकादमी के सचिव के अलावा कई महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर काम किया और कई किताबें लिखीं।

India-Australia holds inaugural 2+2 ministerial dialogue September 10-12

• India and Australia are undertaking their first-ever 2+2 ministerial dialogue at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi. The high-level foreign and defence ministerial-level dialogue will further ramp up the overall defence and strategic cooperation between the two countries, including in the Indo-Pacific cooperation amid China’s increasing military assertiveness in the region.

Prahlad Singh Patel inaugurated food processing unit Madhya Pradesh

• The Centre on Sunday inaugurated a food processing unit in Madhya Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana on the last day of the celebration of Food Processing week.
• To commemorate 75 years of India’s independence, the Government of India is celebrating the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.’ As a part of the celebration, the Ministry of Food Processing Industries is celebrating Food Processing Week from September 6-12 September under which the Ministry is organising various programmes.
• On the last day of the Food Processing Week, the Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, Prahlad Singh Patel, inaugurated the Food Processing Unit of M/s Sahara Frozen Foods established in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, under the Cold Chain scheme of Central sector scheme – Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana.

 India's largest open air fernery developed in Uttarakhand

• India is home to a plethora of plant and animal species. The geographical and weather condition of the country is apt for the growth and development of a variety of species. The natural forest of Uttarakhand has been known to host some of these. From unique black-bellied coral snakes to cryptogamic species, the forest is a secret hub for flora and fauna.
• In line with this, India’s largest open-air fernery was inaugurated today, September 12 in Uttarakhand’s Ranikhet. The fernery is home to a large number of fern species, some of which are endemic to the state, some hold medicinal value while some are threatened species that demand care and conservation.

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Sardardham Bhavan

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the Sardardham Bhavan in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, via video conferencing. He also performed the “Bhoomi Pujan” of the Sardardham Phase-II Kanya Chhatralaya (girls’ hostel) project. Both these establishments are dedicated to the “Iron Man of India,” Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The project is developed by the Vishwa Patidar Samaj.
• The state-of-the-art Sardardham Bhavan provides separate hostel facilities to girls and boys from rural areas who aspire for better career prospects.
• Phase I of the Sardardham Bhavan project is built over an area of 11,672 square feet at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore, near the Vaishnodevi circle in the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar border area. It will house 1,600 students, including 800 boys and 800 girls.
• The Phase II of the Sardardham project is expected to house around 2,000 girl students. The project will be built at the cost of another Rs 200 crore.

Daniel Ricciardo wins Italian Grand Prix at Monza in McLaren

• Daniel Ricciardo (McLaren, Australian-Italian) has won the Formula One Italian Grand Prix 2021 title held at Autodromo Nazionale Monza track, Italy.
• This is the first victory for McLaren in 9 years. Lando Norris came second while Valtteri Bottas came third in the F1 race. Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen crash out of Italian Grand Prix 2021 due to collision.

 Daniil medvedev beats Novak Djokovic in 2021 US open Men's final

• Daniil Medvedev lifted his first Grand Slam trophy on Monday after defeating Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in two hours and sixteen minutes in the US Open men’s singles final at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
• While Djokovic failed to become the third man after Don Budge (1938) and Rod Laver (1962, 1969) to sweep all four majors in the same year, Medvedev capped off a stellar US Open outing with a memorable win.

Bhupendra Patel is the new Chief Minister Gujarat

• Bhupendra Patel has been chosen as the new Chief Minister of Gujarat at the BJP legislature meeting. He is a BJP MLA from the Ghatlodia assembly seat in Ahmedabad. This comes after the resignation of Vijay Rupani from the post of CM of Gujarat.
• Bhupendra Patel holds a diploma in Civil Engineering and has held positions in Patidar trusts and organisations, including Sardar Dham and World Umiya Foundation, among others. He has been a standing committee chairman in the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and chairman of the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA).

Sahitya akademi winner Aziz Hajini passed away

• Eminent writer and former secretary of the Academy of Arts, Culture and Languages of Jammu and Kashmir, Aziz Hajini, died here late on Saturday night. He was 64 years old and had been ill for some time.
• Hajini, a resident of Sonwari in Bandipur district of North Kashmir, held several important positions besides secretary of the Academy of Arts, Culture and Languages of Jammu and Kashmir and wrote several books.
