कौशल मंत्रालय ने AI- आधारित "ASEEM" डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म किया लॉन्च

कौशल विकास और उद्यमिता मंत्रालय द्वारा आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) - आधारित "आत्मनिर्भर स्किल्ड एम्प्लॉई मैपिंग (ASEEM)" डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म को शुरू किया गया है। इस मंच का उद्देश्य रोजगार क्षेत्रों में कुशल कार्यबल की मांग-आपूर्ति के अन्तर को कम करना और सूचना प्रवाह में सुधार करना है। क्षेत्रों और स्थानीय उद्योग की मांगों के आधार पर श्रमिकों का विवरण पोर्टल द्वारा पर डाला जाएगा।

ASEEM पोर्टल स्थायी आजीविका के अवसरों को तलाशने में कुशल लोगों की सहायता करेगा। यह उद्योग-संबंधित कौशल प्राप्त करने और विशेष रूप से C-19 महामारी के पश्चात के समय में उभरते रोजगार के अवसरों का पता लगाने में कुशल कर्मचारियों की मदद करेगा। यह मंच नियोक्ताओं को कुशल कार्यबल की उपलब्धता की जांच करने और उनकी भर्ती योजनाओं को तैयार करने के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करेगा।

ASEEM को राष्ट्रीय कौशल विकास निगम (NSDC) ने बेंगलुरु स्थित कंपनी Betterplace के साथ मिलकर विकसित किया है। इस मंच का प्रबंधन राष्ट्रीय कौशल विकास निगम (NSDC) द्वारा किया जाएगा। 

एशिया के सबसे बड़े प्रमाणित टियर IV डेटा सेंटर का उद्घाटन किया गया

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे ने मुंबई के पास एशिया के सबसे बड़े प्रमाणित टियर IV डेटा सेंटर का वर्चुअल उद्घाटन किया है। Yotta NM1 डेटा सेंटर बिल्डिंग भारत में सबसे बड़ा टियर IV डेटा सेंटर है। इसे दुनिया का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा डाटा सेंटर होने का दावा भी किया जा रहा है। इस निजी डेटा सेंटर का उपयोग इंजीनियरिंग और रियल एस्टेट व्यवसायों द्वारा किया जाएगा। 

बैंकिंग और अर्थव्यवस्था

भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था में चालू वित्त वर्ष में आ सकती है 3% गिरावट- बोफा

महामारी की मार से चालू वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 में भारत के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (GDP) में 3 फीसदी की गिरावट आने का अनुमान है। विदेशी ब्रोकरेज कंपनी बोफा सिक्योरिटीज ने यह अनुमान लगाया है। बोफा सिक्योरिटीज (BofA Securities) ने गुरुवार को कहा कि उसका यह अनुमान इस बात पर आधारित है कि अगले महीने से अर्थव्यवस्था पूरी तरह खुल जाएगी। बोफा ने कहा कि रिजर्व बैंक मुक्त बाजार परिचालन के जरिये 95 अरब डॉलर तक के सरकारी बॉन्ड की खरीद के जरिये राजकोषीय घाटे का मौद्रिकरण करेगा। इसके अलावा उसके 127 अरब डॉलर के पुनर्मूल्यांकन आरक्षित कोष का इस्तेमाल भी सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंकों के पुन: पूंजीकरण के लिए किया जा सकता है।

महामारी की वजह से अर्थशास्त्री चालू वित्त वर्ष के लिए भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था के वृद्धि अनुमान में बड़ी कटौती कर रही है। रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) और अर्थव्यवस्था की निगरानी करने वाले अन्य निकायों का मानना है कि चालू वित्त वर्ष में भारत के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद में गिरावट आएगी। कुछ अनुमानों में तो कहा गया है कि भारत की जीडीपी 7 फीसदी तक घट सकती है।

भारत-यूरोपीय संघ शिखर सम्मेलन की 15 वीं बैठक

• भारत-यूरोपीय संघ शिखर सम्मेलन की 15 वीं बैठक आभासी मोड में आयोजित की जाएगी। शिखर सम्मेलन भारत-यूरोपीय संघ के सहयोग पर विचार-विमर्श करेगा, जिसमें राजनीतिक और सुरक्षा संबंध, व्यापार और निवेश और आर्थिक सहयोग जैसे विभिन्न पहलुओं को शामिल किया जाएगा।
• भारतीय प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, यूरोपीय आयोग के अध्यक्ष उर्सुला वॉन डेर लेयन, और यूरोपीय परिषद के अध्यक्ष चार्ल्स मिशेल वस्तुतः आयोजित होने वाले भारत-यूरोपीय संघ शिखर सम्मेलन की 15 वीं बैठक की सह-अध्यक्षता करेंगे।

पोलर सैटेलाइट लॉन्च व्हीकल (PSLV) पर अमेजोनिया- 1 को लॉन्च करेगा : इसरो

• भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (ISRO) अगस्त 2020 तक एक प्राथमिक पेलोड के रूप में पोलर सैटेलाइट लॉन्च व्हीकल (PSLV) पर अमेजोनिया -1 को लॉन्च करने के लिए तैयार है। अमेजोनिया-1 पृथ्वी अवलोकन के लिए ब्राजील का पहला उपग्रह है-जिसे डिजाइन, असेंबल और परीक्षण किया गया है।
• अमेजोनिया -1 उपग्रह छवियों के माध्यम से अमेज़ॅन के क्षेत्र में वनों की कटाई को देखने और निगरानी करने में मदद करेगा।

आइवरी कोस्ट के पीएम एमादू गोन कूलिबली का निधन

• आइवरी कोस्ट के प्रधान मंत्री एमादू गोन कूलिबली (Amadou Gon Coulibaly) का निधन। वह हाल ही में फ्रांस से इलाज कराके वापस लौटे थे। उन्हें अक्टूबर के राष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए हुफाउटिस्ट्स फॉर डेमोक्रेसी एंड पीस (RHDP) की सत्तारूढ़ पार्टी द्वारा राष्ट्रपति पद के उम्मीदवार के रूप में भी चुना गया था।
• एमादू गोन कूलिबली ने कई पदों पर कार्य किया, जिसमें तकनीकी सलाहकार, वरिष्ठ सिविल सेवक, कोरहोगो के उप-महापौर, कृषि मंत्री और कैबिनेट मंत्री का पद शामिल हैं। वे छह वर्षों तक राष्ट्रपति के महासचिव के रूप में सेवा देने के बाद, जनवरी 2017 में आइवरी कोस्ट के प्रधान मंत्री बने थे। 

महान संगीतकार चार्ली डेनियल का निधन

• संगीत हॉल ऑफ फेम संगीतकार, चार्ली डेनियल का निधन हो गया। वह देश के संगीत और दक्षिणी रॉक आइकन थे जिन्होंने दशकों तक "लॉन्ग-हेयरड कंट्री बॉय," "अमेरिका में" जैसे गीतों के साथ प्रशंसकों का मनोरंजन किया, और उनकी सिग्नेचर फिडल ट्यून "द डेविल वेन्ट डाउन टू जॉर्जिया", जिसने 1979 मे अपना एकमात्र ग्रैमी अवार्ड जीता।
• उन्हें 2016 में कंट्री म्यूजिक हॉल ऑफ फेम में शामिल किया गया था।

Govt launches AI-based ASEEM digital platform

• The Ministry of Skilled Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) on July 10 launched Aatamanirbhar Skilled Employee Employer Mapping (ASEEM) digital portal which will help skilled people find sustainable livelihood opportunities.
• The step will improve the information flow and will bridge the demand-supply gap in the skilled workforce market. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) based system apart from recruiting the skilled workforce will also help in exploring job opportunities.
• ASEEM is developed and managed by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in collaboration with the Bangalore based company, Betterplace which specializes in blue-collar employee management. 

Asia’s Largest and World’s Second Largest Data Centre Inaugurated In Mumbai

• Union Minister for Communications, Electronics and IT, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad and Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray jointly inaugurated the second-largest Tier IV data centre of the world in Mumbai.
• The world-class ‘Yotta NM1 data centre’ building has been set up at Mumbai’s Panvel data center park, to cater to the needs of engineering and real estate businesses.
• It is the largest of its kind data centre in India and Asia, as well as the second largest in the world. The Yotta NM1 facility has been developed and owned by the Hiranandani Group through its fully owned subsidiary, the Yotta Infrastructure Group. The Yotta NM1 offers 7200 racks and 50MW of power with 48 hour backup.

India’s GDP to contract by 3% in FY21: BofA

• The US brokerage firm BofA Securities has projected the India’s GDP to contract by 3 percent in FY21 because of the C-19 C-19, assuming the economy is opened up fully from August 2020.
• The GDP is likely to grow at 9 percent in FY22, expects BofA, the multinational investment bank division under the auspices of Bank of America.

15th meeting of the India-European Union Summit

• The 15th meeting of the India-European Union Summit will be held in virtual mode. The summit will deliberate on India-EU cooperation by covering various aspects such as political and security relations, trade and investment and economic cooperation.
• Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President of European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, and President of European Council Charles Michel will co-chair the 15th meeting of the India-European Union Summit to be held virtually.

ISRO to Launch Brazil’s Amazonia-1 Earth Observation Satellite on PSLV

• Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch the Amazonia – 1 onboard the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) as a primary payload by August 2020. Amazonia -1 is Brazil’s first satellite for Earth observation – designed, assembled and tested in Brazil.
• Amazonia – 1 will help in observing and monitoring the deforestation in the region of Amazon through the satellite images. 

Obituary

Ivory Coast’s Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly passes away

• The incumbent Prime Minister of Ivory Coast, Amadou Gon Coulibaly, passed away on 8th July 2020. He was 61.
• Coulibaly was a candidate for president in a coming election, to be held in October. He took over as the 10th PM of the country in January 2017. 

Legendary musician Charlie Daniels passes away

• Country Music Hall of Fame musician, Charlie Daniels passed away. He was country music and southern rock icon who entertained fans for decades with songs like “Long-Haired Country Boy,” “In America,” and his signature fiddle tune “The Devil Went Down To Georgia”, who won his only Grammy Award in 1979.
• He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016.
