The National Law School of India University Bangalore released a new notification in regards to the conduction of a separate entrance exam i.e., NLAT 2020. NLSIU Bangalore presented certain options for conducting a separate exam for their university which was denied by the Consortium many times. Aspirants can read the detailed notification and then apply accordingly. Due to various circumstances as explained above, the NLSIU decided to conduct the separation examination. The notification is an official document released by the NLSIU to inform all aspirants to apply for NLAT in the stipulated time and gear up their preparations for the exam. The University has announced that it will not accept CLAT 2020 scores. instead, they will conduct their own entrance exam.

The merit list will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in the online examination. The merit rank, aggregate marks and other details will be shared with the candidate over registered mail or SMS. In case, two or more candidates have scored equal marks, the university will adopt the following tie-breaking formula.
Based on the merit list, the admission to NLSIU Bangalore will be shortlisted. Candidates who qualify the examination will be intimated of the admission offer through registered mail or mobile number. To confirm the acceptance, the candidate must accept the provisional admission offer and submit the documents such as mark sheets, certified, character certificate, reservation certificate, and others. If the candidates fail to submit the details or doesn't accept the offer, the seat may be given to another candidate.
