Railway will construct 10 thousand kilometer high-speed train corridor in 10 lakh crore

●        The agency alleged that during the senior positions between 2004 and 2014 in various banks, Archana collected assets worth Rs 4.89 crore and also spent Rs 1.47 crore, while in the meantime, her income was Rs 2.73 crore.

Venkatesh Prasad quits as chairman of Junior Selection Committee
 
●        Former Indian fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad resigned from the post of national junior selection committee on Friday.

●        In the state, 31 waste management projects related to the 155.45 MLD capacity water purification plant (STP) with an estimated cost of 1024.5 crore rupees have been approved.

●        Jayendra Saraswati, the chief Shankaracharya of Kanchi Monastery, died on February 28, 2018, in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.
●        Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, chief of Kanchi Kamakoti Peeth was 82 years old.
●        He was admitted to the hospital after suffering from breathing.
●        Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati was born on July 18, 1935 in Tamil Nadu.
●        Located in Kanchipuram Nagar of Tamil Nadu state of South India, Kanchi was the 69th Shankaracharya of Kamakoti Peeth.
●        They are considered to be the knowers of the Vedas.
 

Aircel offered to pay bankruptcy
 
●        Aircel, the sixth largest telecom operator in the country, has applied to declare himself bankrupt in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) with its units - Aircel Cellular and Dishnet Wireless.

●        Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has auctioned 11.76 acres in Gurgaon, for which DLF has made a bid of Rs 1,496 crore.

 Intermodal stations will be built in 15 cities


●        The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has undertaken a detailed feasibility study to set up Intermodal Station (IMS) in Nagpur and Varanasi and detailed project report (DPR) for this is in the final stages of preparation.
●        In order to develop intermodal station, 15 cities of the country have been given priority, out of which Nagpur and Varanasi have been selected for the pilot project.

NPAs of traders are 9 times more than farmers

●        The tribunal will determine the distribution of water between the total reservoirs in the entire Mahanadi basin, the contribution of each state, the current use of water resources in every state and the possibility of future development.
●        According to the provisions of Interstate River Water Dispute (ISRWD) Act, 1956, there will be a president and two other members in the tribunal, who will nominate the Chief Justice of India from the Supreme Court or the High Court Judges.
