APTET 2020 Notification Vacancy list

Education minister of AP has recently announced during the media interaction that they are going to fill all the teacher vacancies available in Zilla Parishad/Mandal Parishad/Municipality Schools/Residential Schools.

To improve school standards, the Govt of AP planning to recruit more teachers in the ration of 1:23. According to Govt sources, they are going to declare APTET Notification 2020 for 25,000 vacancies.

The vacancies may increase or decrease. We will get the exact number of APTET vacancies after the announcement of APTET 2020 official Pdf notification

APTET Notification 2020 Eligibility:

The two criteria followed by the authorities to find the most suitable candidate for the recruitment or to find the eligible candidates for the exam are Age Limit and Education Qualification. Here is the brief on APTET Eligibility Criteria 2020:

Education Qualification:

  • Candidates who possess D.Ed/B.Ed/Language Pandit/U.G.D.P.Ed./ D.P.Ed./B.P.Ed are eligible to apply for APTET Notification 2020.
  • Candidates who are in the final year of the said course above are also eligible to apply for APTET 2020-21 Exam.

Age Limit:

  • Aspiring teachers age limit must be in between 18 to 44 years for the General category candidates.
  • The upper age limit is applicable for the reserved candidates. 
  • SC/ST with a maximum age limit of 49 years are eligible to apply for APTET Notification 2020
  • Physically Challenged candidates are given an age limit of 54 years.

APTET Salary/Pay Scale:

AP Govt offers a salary/pay scale for APTET qualified candidates in the range of Rs.5200 to Rs.20,200 per month. This year Govt of AP taken a decision to increase their pay/scale. Qualified candidates will get a grade pay of Rs.22,500 per month.

  • SGT Candidates will get a salary of Rs.22,500/Month
  • SA & Language Pundit’s Candidates will get a salary in the range of Rs.30,500 per month.

APTET Application Form 2020

Eligible candidates are required to fill the APTET Application form 2020 from the official website. Before filling the application form, candidates have to pay the examination fee through online or AP Online seven centers.

  • Candidates have to access the official website of APTET to apply online.
  • First, pay the examination fee by filling the basic details of the applicant.
  • After payment of Fee, a Journal number is generated. Note down it in a safe place until the recruitment process is completed.
  • Now Click on Apply Online link. A web page opens with APTET 2020 online application form.
  • Now fill the details of the candidates and upload recent passport size photograph and signature.
  • After filling the online form, verify the details once again before submitting the online application form.
  • No Edit/Changes are made once the APTET Application form is submitted.
  • If you need to edit any changes in the application form, RS.500/- will be charged. 

APTET Hall Ticket 2020

Hall ticket is mandatory for APTET Exam. Applied candidates should download the APTET Hall Ticket 2020 compulsory from the official website. For Downloading hall ticket, registration number and Date of Birth are needed.

Hall Ticket is available for the candidates to download before 15 days of the exam. No hall ticket is sent through the courier or post to the candidate's address mentioned in the APTET 2020 application.

APTET Exam Centres

Candidates have to opt for the exam center name available in the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh while filling online application for APTET Notification 2020. Not only the APTET Exam is conducted in Andhra Pradesh.

Paper 2 (A) is also an online mode exam which is compulsory for the applicants who wish to apply for Maths, Science or Social Science teachers.

The medium of the APTET Paper 2 Question Paper is English and Telugu. Each correct answer is marked with +1 mark and incorrect answer is marked with -1/4 mark

APTET Syllabus 2020

APTET exam going to be conducted in two papers. Candidates who applied for SGT posts should write Paper-I Exam and SA posts applicants should write Paper-II.

Who applied for both posts, should write both papers. Previous year APTET Notification was conducted online. This year Govt of AP planning to conduct examination through offline.

APTET Paper 1 Syllabus

  • Questions will be asked from the topics Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II (English), Mathematics, Environmental Studies. To cover all the topics it is better to read all Telugu academic textbooks from class 3 to class x.

APTET Paper 2 Syllabus

  • Paper-II syllabus contains Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II (English), Maths, Science, Social, Psychology.
  • To attempt all the questions in the APTET 2020 exam, candidates are advised to read all the academic Telugu textbooks from class 3 to Intermediate level.

APTET 2020 Preparation

Education Department of AP takes one month for a declaration of APTET Results 2020. Results will be uploaded on the official website of APTET Notification 2020. APTET 2020 Cut off Marks

APTET Cut off marks will be announced on the same day of the declaration of APTET Result. Based on the cutoff marks or qualifying marks recruitment and further selection process is continued until all the vacancies are filled.

  • OC Candidates must get above 60% marks above to qualify
  • BC Category applicants need to cross 50% marks and above.
  • SC/ ST/ Differently abled (PH) & Ex-servicemen should secure a minimum of 40% marks of the total marks to qualifying in APTET 2020 Exam.

APTET Selection Process

The only a competitive exam is conducted for eligible candidates. The competitive exam comprises questions of objective type. Getting good marks in the AP TET 2020 exam will be an added advantage in AP DSC.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of APTET Score and DSC marks. 20% weightage is for APTET Score and 80% is for AP DSC marks. For final selection both the weightage marks are taken into consideration.
