SSC MTS 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must be aware of the SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria given as follows:

  • The individuals applying for MTS posts must have an official Class 10 Certificate
  • The students who are still in 10th Standard and passing the exam on 1st January 2019 can also apply if they show the valid proof in documents
  • The aspirants who are looking forward to the Age-Relaxation or Reservation under different categories have to submit the official category certificate
  • The candidates are also required to present official SC/ ST/ OBC/ disability certificate from the govt. the authority issued on or before the prescribed date.
  • The Disability Certificates should be presented in the format SSC has set, whenever such certificates are sought by the regional/ sub-regional office
  • In case the student belongs to a country other than India i.e. Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, Pakistan, Burma, etc., they have to submit the Eligibility Certificate issued by the Government of India

How To Apply?

Follow the steps given below in order to fill the application form: Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website that is
  • Then, look for the tab “Notice”.
  • Click on the tab and find “application form”.
  • Read the instructions to fill the form carefully.
  • Complete the process of registration by entering in the details of a phone number, email id, and name.

Step 2: Filling SSC MTS Online Form 2019

  • Log in with the information of the registration number and password.
  • Complete the details of education in regard to class X, XII, and graduation (whichever is applicable).
  • Upload the marks in percentage.
  • Enter the details of the father’s name, mother’s name and set up a security question as per your wish from the drop-down.

Step 3: Uploading Photograph and Signature

  • Once all the educational qualification has been successfully entered, then upload the scanned copy of your photograph and signature.
  • The size of the photograph and signature should not be more than 50KBs and 20KBs respectively.
  • The photograph should be colored one with a light background and signature must not be in BLOCK letters

Step 4: Application Fee

  • Application fee has to be paid according to the category details.
  • The General/OBC category candidates shall pay INR100 and all the other categories, as well as female candidates, are exempted to pay the fee
  • The Fee can be paid by BHIM UPI/Netbanking/credit/ debit card or e-challan.
  • A confirmation mail will be sent once the application fee has been paid.

SSC MTS Exam Center 2019

SSC MTS is conducted in more than 61 cities across India.

  • The students will be provided a choice to choose the city which is preferred by them at the time of the registration.
  • The final SSC MTS Exam Centers will be generated by the system.
  • Once the exam center is allotted by the officials of SSC, it shall not be changed
  • If any candidate behaves inappropriately in the exam hall, they shall face negative consequences
  • Without admit card, candidates will not be allowed in the hall

SSC MTS Exam Pattern

The SSC MTS is a National Level exam which is conducted in two stages: Paper I (CBT) and Paper II (PBT). Candidates must be aware of the elaborated SSC MTS Exam Pattern in order to understand the question paper in a better way.

The first stage of the SSC MTS exam is Paper 1. The candidates must read as follows for more information regarding paper 1 of SSC MTS:

  • The questions will be set both in English & Hindi (except for the English Language paper).
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  • The timing for Visually handicapped cerebral palsy candidates is 120 Mins.
