What is a Safe XAT Score for XLRI & Top Colleges? (Marks + Percentile)

While XLRI shortlisting is percentile-based (with sectional cutoffs), many students find it easier to plan using a marks range as a benchmark.

  • For XLRI (safe zone): Aim for a high overall percentile and clear sectional cutoffs, especially Decision Making.
  • For other top colleges: Overall percentile is often prioritised, but sectional requirements may still apply depending on the institute.

Note: “Safe score” estimates vary by paper difficulty. Treat them as a planning benchmark, not an official cutoff.
